I was wonder about who the people that came on with the faction tag [PIC]

I saw them a couple of nights.

Are they [DIC] in discize?

[PIC] - mjolnir - 11-23-2007

I was once told it means - Power Is Corsair

they have been around for more than 4 weeks

Shame that their fighting skills don't seem to be up to corsair standards....

EDIT ( after reading eppy): 4 weeks ago I had to kill 3 of them - 6 times, while they were docked on a certain Kusari border station and kept coming back. I thought they stopped with that when I explained it to them after the 6 kills.

I believe they are a group of pirates running generic pirate ID's in Kusari if I remember correctly. One of them in a freelancer ID and a police tag once tried to pirate me. Ran for about 10 minutes before realizing he couldn't actually do anything to me rp-wise. I dont think they have any affiliation with those big DIC's

EDIT: changed that last sentence because it sounded like a dirty insult.
EDIT 2: It still sounds dirty. Oh well.
EDIT 3: Never mind Equinox got their affiliation right.

No they have been around allot longer than them.

I think that PIC stands for "Power Is Corsair" if memory serves me right, they are also tagged and ided Corsair and seem like a nice enough bunch when ive had contact with them.

Edit, People beat me to it >.>

Well, I wouldn't say that, I had two of their people reengage me in today's raid on Gamma, not to mention a little supply-dropping outside of Freeport Nine...

Apparently Grammar Is Not Corsair.

hmm why do all other Corsairs make the brotherhood look bad. :/

[PIC] - Eppy - 11-23-2007

I think Corsair appeals to newer players focused mainly on PvP because simply put they have such a wide reach. There are, like, three NPC alignments they can't shoot at. I think they've also got the only real 'Arrrd, I'm A Pirate' feel to them in the game...there are others, but they, once again, don't have the sheer reach of the 'Sairs.

...if that was rhetorical, sorry, but in case anybody needed confirmation :shrugs:

[PIC] - Othman - 11-23-2007

When I first saw them in Gamma, they had police tagged ships who were replying back that they were trying to fix their reputation with the Corsairs to buy their ID. I dont think they are new here but something is obvious that I do not have any kind of intel about them yet.

Well thank you Costello.

If you have an issue, speak to me about it.
