Ok previously i said how when i log onto a server most of the time i get a red disconnect as soon as i go into space and d/c, my other character how ever was working perfectly on the server until i went into a jump gate in connecticut and it just started doing it, now everytime i log in i get it, does anyone have any solutions? i have turned off firewall uninstalled it, and everything, im running vista ultimate so that could potentially be a problem, it was fine until i went into the jump gate:(any ideas?

Run FL as admin. if that doesnt work let me think.. i have ultimate aswell

i have uac disabled so pretty much full admin already, its just so strange its happening.

I have the same problem with any new characters I make. All of my old ones work just fine, but new ones can't leave New York or Texas without being disconnected with the Red Ping/Internet problems error.

Built in Firewall with your antivirus?
Try checking and disabling that.

Ah ha, so you're the one with that weird problem... I thought about that afterwards and it might of been a corrupt player file of some sort, the only way to fix it would be trying to remake the character. Because lagging on only one character makes no sense at all.

I've done a little more testing, and they seem to work just fine if you create the character and wait a day. Still an odd little issue, but at least I know nothing is corrupt.

I am having the same exact problem, except, the wait 24 hrs does not work for me. I can sit on manhattan all day, and chat, second I launch, i get the red ping. I have done everything listed here in the forums (you should see my post under discovery help) lol. Any help would be appreciated.
