The Story of Caja Collister

Born on Planet Manhattan (15th March 794 A.S.)

Intro:
Caja Collister was born on Planet Manhattan as the daughter of Caden and Yumi Collister.
Since her childhood she dreamed to become an Liberty Navy captain like her Dad was.
Her Mum Yumi Collister was born in Kusari and worked for Samura.

Chapter one (grow up)

Caja was born on Manhattan. Her dad Caden was a high ranked Navy officer at this time.

Her mum Yumi worked for Samura as escort pilot, so she rarely saw her.

Her dad took care as good as he was able to cause his work.


When Caja grew older she was interested in her dads work more and more.

Fastly she dreamed to become a captain of one of those impressing spaceships.

To get a real change to be able to become a high ranked navy member she started to learn everything about the navy early.

She readed everything about the navy and its enemies when she cames out of school every day.

When she found nothing new she readed anything again and again.


The most worse day in Cajas life was her 17th Birthday.

At the beginning a happy day with all of Cajas friends around.

The house was festively decorated. Everyone just waited for Cajas mum.

The mood was good. Everyone was laughing.

After 2 hours of waiting they decided to let caja cutting her birthday pie.

While Caden brought the Pie into the living room the doorbell rang.

Caja ran to the door with a big smile on her face. She was glad that her mum was there.


But. it was not her mum. Two bulky Navy officers stand in front of her and watching down to her with oppressed faces.

Cajas smile disappeared. She already thought that anythings on with her mum.

There was no other reason why those officers are here. Caden came to the door too.

One of the men started to speak: "You are Caden and Caja Collister?".

Caja noded and watched the navyofficer with her big sad eyes. Caja tried to hide her tears.

The man continued: "[color=#33FFFF]Mrs. Collister disappeared today during a escort with seven other pilots.

The last Transmission were received when the convoy was in Gallileo system.

Our searchteam which we started immediately after contact was aborted did find nothing.

So we dont really know what happend. We hope they are still alive cause we found no truffles."


Even befor the Navyman finished his talk, Caja collapsed in her dads arms. It was simply to much for her.

Chapter two (West Point)

When Caja finished the school she applied for West Point.

Cause of her knowledge and her good Certificates she had no problems to be included at West Point.

Caja knew everything what a civilian could know about the navy. So she had a good basis for.

She excludes herself well. She was not interested in any friendship.

The only thing the was intrested in was to be the best one.

The others did not like her cause of her strict way she had at West Point.

She had countless flight lessons and gave her best everytime.

So she completed West Point as one of the best of her vintage.

Chapter three (Navy)

Cajas Dream came true. Now she was member of the Liberty navy.

Her dad was proud. Her mum would be too if she were here.

Since her dad was already Captain in the Navy, Caja was allowed to work on his Ship.

The LNS-Equinox was a Liberty Siege Cruiser which mainly patrouled in the inner Liberty Systems.

After a few weeks of patrouls around Liberty the Crew of the Equinox got a special Mission.

They were ordered to escort the PL-Maddox from Norfolk Shipyard to LPI-Huntsville in Texas.

The Maddox was upgraded with the lastest securitiy technologies at Norfolk.

Only High Profile Prisoners were carried with this Prisonliner.

The mission was calm until the convoy passed the Texas Jumpgate.

Maddox Capt.: "Heres the Maddox! Were under heavy attack! Requesting assistance!"

Caden: [color=#33FFFF]"Were 2k away from your possition Maddox. Set course to Huntsville we handle the situation."

The Maddox charged its Cruise engines and flew in direction to Huntsville.

Caden: "Loading weapons! Manual aim Control to my Panel!"

Crewman: "Roger Captain. Controls transfered."

Caden blasted down the shield of one of the fighters with a single shot.

The attacking fighters abored their fire and charged their cruise engines.

The Equinox started the cruiseengies too and flew to Huntsville.

Maddox Capt.: "Thanks Capt. Collister! Good work. I will ask for you and your Crew for the next Missions too. Was a pleasure to fly with you."

Caden: "No problem. Everything is fine at your ship?"

Maddox Capt.: "Yeah it is. cause of your fast action they did no damage to us."

Caden: "Good. Then... Setting course to Norfolk!"

On the flight back to Norfolk shipyard Caja tried to get any information about this ships which attacked the Maddox.

She never saw ships like that before.

When Caja tried to ask her Father for any information he responded very agressive.

Caja was surprised. She never saw her Dad like this before.


Back home Caja tried to get informations about the ships again.

Caden: "Caja. that was the Order."

Caja: "What?! That was this terroristic group? They were not that agressive for what I heard about them."

Caden: "Yeah. The Navy say so..."

Caja: "What do you mean?"

Caden: "The Navy say so but they know thats not the truth."

Caja: "Truth? So whats the truth then?"

Caden: "I'm not allowed to talk with you about that. Enough!"

Caja: "But..."

Caden: "NO!"



Some years passed. Caja worked hard and get higher and higher in the ranking.

The day came when Caden quit his his Navy career.

But he still was there for Caja and helped her with his experience and knowledge.

Caja was Lieutenant Commander at this moment and worked on Battleship Missouri.


Another Year later the Navy High Command offered Caja to become the new Captain of the Maddox.

She was surpirsed that the Navy offered her the Command over the most modern Navy Prisonliner.

She was so proud. That was it, the goal she worked her whole life for.

With a big smile on her face she agreed to take over the Maddox.

But there was a little problem.

The reason why they offered Caja the command right now was that the Maddox was involved in a big fight.

In this fight the Captain was killed and the Maddox was heavily damaged.

The Navy was sure that the Repairs will take more than two months.

That was why the Navy gave Caja a three months holliday. She was not very happy about that.

Caja used the time and explored the accessible parts of the Maddox the first two weeks.


But fast she known all the corridors and was bored. So she decided to take a break and fly to her Dad.

He was happy to see her and wanted to know everything about her new Ship.

Hours passed.

At this moment Caden decided to talk with Caja about the Order. She begged for that so much when she was new in the Navy.

But now he tought it is the right time for it.

Caden: "Little girl... yeah... you remember the time when you wanted to know everything about the Order?"

Caja was surprised.

Caja: "Yes of course. I'm still interested in this but you said that you are not allowed to......"

Caden interrupted Caja.

Caden: "But now.... I'm not in the navy anymore. And... And I think you're old enough now to know the truth."

Caja smiled

Caden: "So.... I'm.... Ehrm... I'm a Agent of the Order Caja."

Cajas did not believe that and started laughing.

Caden: "That's not a joke! Stop laughing!"

Caja: "Come on. If you where an Order Agent the navy will know that. What means you will be in Prison."

Caden: "Yeah the Navy.... They say so much. "We catch everyone" and "We have no spys in the Navy" and "Nomads do not exsist".

Do you really believe everything what the navy says?"

Caja: "But...."

Caden: "No Caja. Please listen to me. I'm an Order Agend since..... yeah i forgot that."

Caja and Caden talked hours about the Order, the Nomads and what the Navy is hiding to the Liberty inhabitants.

She was shocked about this news. Her whole career she thought shes working for a good thing.

But now she was not sure about that anymore.

At the end of the day Caden asked Caja if she want to make a travel with him to find out more.

Now her interest was aroused. So she said yes.

The following days Caden and Caja planned their little excursion to the Omicrons.

Caden did not say everything about his plans to Caja. She only knew that their travel will lead them to Freeport 11.

Chapter four (the Journey)

Everything was prepared to start the travel.

Caja met her Dad at the Runway in the morning.

Caja: "Hey dad, everything's fine?"

Caden: [color=#33FFFF]"Morning lil' girl. Everything is ready. I'm just waiting for you."

Caja was excited. Never before she leaved Liberty and the surrounding independent Systems.

She can't wait and asked her dad dozens of questions.

She hoped to get any information from him what he plans to do at Freeport 11.

But no chance for Caja. Caden just answered all of her questions with "later lil' girl".

Caden started the engine of his Eagle.

Caden: "Manhattan control. Here's Caden Collister. Requesting clearance to take off."

Control: "Mr. Collister. Request approved. Good flight."

Caden setted course to Bering.

Some time later they reached Freeport 2 and Caden requested docking permission.

Caja was a bit confused.

Caja: "Dad? Why we are docking at Freeport 2? I thought we're goin to Freeport 11?"

Caden: "Later lil' girl." *giggles*

Caja was bugged that her Dad did not say her anything.

She and her Dad went to the bar.

They tooked a break there. Caja already gave up to find out whats happening here.

After a hour Caden jumped off his seat.

Caja stood up too.

Caden: "Nono. Wait here. I'll be back in a minute."

Caja: "But...."

Caden: "No its ok."

Caden went out the bar for some minutes and came back with a Zoner.

They stood at the entrance and looked at Caja.

It was curious for Caja. Seemed like they talk about her.

The Zoner left the bar and Caden came back to Caja.

Caja: "Who was this?"

Caden: "A Zoner friend."

Caja: "Yeah. And what where you talkin' about?"

Caden: "Later lil' girl."

Slowly Caja was peeved.

Caja and Caden made themself comfortable for some more hours and talked about some of the funny looking people in the bar.

Many hours passed when Caden decided to clarify what his plans are.

But the bar was a place with to many ears around.

Once again Caden left the bar and let Caja behind.

A minute later he came back and went to the bar to pay a bill.

He went to the exit and waved Caja nearer.

Caden: "So lil' Girl. I fetched a room for us. We will continue tomorrow."

Caja: "So... we're goin on tomorrow?"

Caden: "Yes."

Caja followed Caden to the rented room.

In the room Caden started to explain.

Caden: "Ok. We're still goin to Omicron Delta. But I dont want that the Navy knows."

"We will meet there with a old friend of mine."

"You will wonder what he has to tell you."

Caja: "And why we have to wait 'til tomorrow?"

"Isn't our ship good enough for that trip?"

Caden: "Yes it should. But... don't really want to fight against all this Nomads and all the other scary figures out there."

"So I decided to fly with my Zoner friend you saw in the bar."

"The destination of his convoy is Freeport 11. So that will be the saver way."

Caja:"Ok dad. I'm tired. I'm goin' to sleep."

Caden: "Good idea lil' girl."

Caja slept fast cause she had some drinks too much in the bar.

The next morning Caden awaked Caja.

Caden: "Hurry up lil' girl!!!"

"Or do you wanna miss your transport?"

*laughs*

Caja: "Oh dad... why you can't be normal."

"Your acting like a kid." *yawn*

Caden stuffed his stuff in his pockets.

Caja went to the bath.

Caden: "Lil' Girl! Hurry! You're already pretty. You don't have to style up for the Zoners." *giggles*

Caja: "Shut up dad!"

When Caja went out the bath Caden stood at the door with a bored mien.

Caja: "What?"

Caden: "It's ok." *giggles*

Caja: "You're so damn annoyin' sometimes dad."

Caden: "Yeah. I know. *giggles* Let's go!"

Both went to the Transporter docks.

The door was open. But nobody was there.

Caja was confused cause she knows that the servicecrew is usually loading until the last minute.

On board they went to the Bridge. Again a curious thing. The stowage of the Whale was completly empty.

On the bridge Caden greeted the Zoner.

It seemed he's the only one on this ship.

Everything was so confusing. But Caja did not ask her Dad cause she already knew his answer. "Later lil'girl"

Caja went to the Zoner and wanted to shake hands.

Caja: "Hello Sir. My name is Caja. Thanks for playin' the cab."

The Zoner just smiled, noded and looked on his computer again.

Caden: "Caja? Could you please take a seat at the Communication Console?"

"You maybe already noticed that our Zoner friend is not talkative."

Caja sat down and put the headset on.

Caden: "So? We are ready?"

The Zoner lifted his hand.

Caden: "Good then. Caja ask the Freeport for permission. I would like to go now."

Caja: "Here's Zoner Whale on mooring point 2. Requesting permission to undock."

FP-Control: "Undocking granted. Have a good flight"

The Zoner started the engines.

Caden: "Next stop Freeport 11!"

The travel was calm. When they reached Omicron Kappa some single nomad Units appeared on the scanner.

But the escorts forced them back before any of them were able to reach the Transport.

Caden: "Good. One more jumphole."

The Whale passed and reached Delta.

Caja looked out the window and was impressed.

Caja: "I can already see the Freeport."

Caja pointed at a construction far away.

Caden: "Yes. That's Freeport 11. Five more minutes Caja."

"Contact them and ask for docking permission."

Caja: "Ok."

Caja grabed the headset.

Caja: "Zoner convoy for Freeport 11."

FP-Control: "Huh?"

Caja watched confused at her Dad.

Caden: "Go on."

Caja: "Requesting docking per....."

Caja was interrupted by FP-Control.

FP-Control: "Aye. Miss Collister. What about mooringpoint one?"

Again Caja watched confused to her dad.

Caden started to laugh.

Caden: "It's ok Caja. The Zoners already know we are comin'."

The Zoner docked with the Freeport.

Caja and Caden left the ship.

Caja: "Where to go now dad?"

Caden: "I'm sure he's in the bar."
