Council - Zoner in .86 - ethang360 - 10-02-2010 It is my understanding that the Zoners will be siding with the Council in .86 What is the probability that those characters with a Council ID will have access to Zoner capital ships, and vice versa? Thanks, in advance, for any input on this. Council - Zoner in .86 - kikatsu - 10-02-2010 I highly doubt it... mostly for the fact that the Council has their own line of warships, they have little use for the glorified shuttle that is the Zoner gunboat...plus their gunboat is smaller and handles the powerplant a bit better. Council - Zoner in .86 - Disparagess - 10-02-2010 Since when have any allies been able to be able to use any allies capital ships without prior consent of that ally's official-faction/npc representitive? Council - Zoner in .86 - sean24 - 10-02-2010 Not likely to happen I think. Zoner capitals like the Jinkusu aren't designed specifically for combat featuring bio-domes and the like. It wouldn't make sense for the Council to trade in some of their own warships for the Zoners. Council - Zoner in .86 - ethang360 - 10-02-2010 Yes, I would agree that the Council ships are better. They had to be. Regardless, The Council is a relative newcomer to Sirius proper, and allies, no matter how willing must be rewarded. Perhaps an unfettered Cap allowance is too much, maybe weapon access is better. However, There is a price for allegiance. Should not the Zoners prosper? Council - Zoner in .86 - Zelot - 10-02-2010 Since when are the Council and Zoners allying in 4.86? Council - Zoner in .86 - Elven - 10-02-2010 No... Just no. Zoners are already hard soldiers from Bretonia-Kusari war now, just give them <strike>something OP</strike> military hardware.. Council - Zoner in .86 - Sandman - 10-02-2010 Don't agree with ship sharing between zoners and their allies, the order are in a constant state of war which is reflected in their shipline so therefore zoners do not use order ships because zoners are not at war with anyone (until recently of course) Same goes for the Council, no need for zoners to be flying their warships. As if zoners need more capships anyway. Council - Zoner in .86 - Jinx - 10-02-2010 in short - no zoner capital ship will be passed to the council ( or for that matter to any non zoner in general ) without special roleplay backgrounds ( which does not necessarily mean the closed SRP - but a solid basis for the NEED for such a ship opposed to the need for any other ship that may be available easier ) and a juggernaut is most unlikely to be passed over - especially when people wish for it to be used less by even zoners, i cannot see a general reason why non zoners would use it. but as always - roleplay beats everything. - a good reason provided - and basicly everything "ought" to be possible ( if we were all objective and friendly to each other ) Council - Zoner in .86 - teschy - 10-02-2010 The Zoners won't ally with anyone, they aren't organized enough for that. And why would they want to get on the GRN's bad side anyway? They shouldn't really care about them.. Just to get Freeport 6 blown up, and Baffin invaded or something? I mean, even the IMG, who are the only true Council allies in Sirius will be forced to end any hostilities with the GRN. And capital ship usage.. there's no point in discussing that. |
