Well, for old men like us, time is just a reminder of things past. I have spent the last year high in the mountains of Crete, it was not until recently that I was called back, just in time to witness the outbreak of hostilities between your folk and mine. Well, as you know, I am no long a member of the Council of Elders, nor the leader of the Brotherhood, but I was called by the Council, and asked to explore any diplomatic options for the situation. That is not to say the Elders have called off the troops, but I think if I can show them some progress, they will. I am currently on board the Memoria, preparing to head to Freeport 9 in an attempt to talk with the Zoner forces on the station. I hope you, or at least a representative of yours will be able to be there, I think this may be the last chance to salvage anything from the long relations between our peoples. It does make my mind wander back..... None the less, I have always found you to be a particularly level headed Zoner, and I think the more level headed voices at the Zoner table the better. I keep asking myself, do other Zoners WANT me to represent them? I would no doubt be collared by one group or another for whatever happens.
