Guten tag, honorable Leaders of the Rheinland federal Police.

As you probably know the Independent miners guild supplies Rheinland with large amounts of niobium and other mined ores, such as cobalt and beryllium. pirates always make our job harder, and recently we've begun having trouble with junkers trying to make a quick buck by stealing ore from our miners and selling it in Rheinland under the guise of being guild sanctioned haulers.

We do what we can to stop these junker pirates, but in the end, some of them get through, and t help solve this problem, we would appreciate it if you could spend a minimal amount of effort and declare any known junker pirates hostile to the RFP. this would help curb piracy by junkers looking to make some quick credits without buying their ore from a lawful source.

SUBJECT: Junker Pirates

Guten Tag Herr Matterson.

I apologise for my some-what late response. Things in Nibelung Polizei Plaza for the last few days have been rather hectic, und paperwork floods in.

But anyway, your piracy problem. Unfortunately, we can not ban Junkers from Rheinland space for bringing us ore, no matter where it came from. Just so long as the transports they pirated were not in Rheinland at the time.

However, contrary to this line of thinking, if we banned the Junkers from the selling point in Rheinland, they may find something more profitable to involve themselves with. But they could just sell their ore to passing transports, or take it somewhere else. It is a rather difficult situation.

I can understand that you wish for us to ban these unlawful Junkers from Rheinland, und believe me, if they sneeze the wrong way I'd be first to the button which did this banning. They steal business from ALG which could take the scrap und they smuggle und pirate behind our backs. But to do this without evidence of them committing a crime in Rheinland borders, it would create a political fiasco.

If you can, escort your ships until they arrive at Rheinland. Then if the Junkers pirate your undefended transports in Rheinland space, I shall personally see to the erasing of one House from their places to go.

Herr Putzkanner,

While this is not quite what I had envisioned, anything that the house of Rheinland can do to help curb piracy is appreciated. Thank you for your response.
