Do the Raba have 1800 in cargo and 152000 in armor like the wiki and fl stats says, Or do it have 3200 in cargo and 85000 armor like it says in the ships info card??

The raba - mira - 10-08-2010

it has 1800 cargo and 85.000 armor

The raba - BillG8s - 10-08-2010

Oh, best of both worlds heh :) has it agility to match this up??

The raba - mira - 10-08-2010

noooooooo
its agility really really sucks
you can compare it to storks agility

if you want something for *coughs*piracy*coughs* with hogosha ID, maybe better choice would be Geisha or even PTrans
I use raba only because of its design

Well what a lovely ship then, and for the mere price of 35 millions. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

(no wonder why the pirate transport still is so popular, there are no substitutes for it *walks away to buy a Raba*)

The raba - Jinx - 10-08-2010

it has 1800 cargo - and 152.000 armour - before you rely too much on hearsay.

the ID card is sort of wrong concerning the hitpoints. - it also has 8 turrrets - and 7 of them can fire forward.

i had no trouble dispatching a shire with it fairly easily. its agility isn t really too great - and hits powercore ( 45k ) isn t high - but the powercore is likely to be revised in the next version.

I somewhat favour the raba as a corsair answer to the rogue pirate transport (even thou it is generic, and sold at the corsair Yaren base).

Im flying Raba for quite long and this info made me even more happier *smiles*

when will info card get changed

and edit on cargo it has 1801 not 1800

The raba - Colonel.Tigh - 10-08-2010

as said, it has the big armor and the small cargo and is so damn slow a pirateTrans will rape you, but all other transports are yours, sadly you can only take a third of their cargo after they pooof, so you need two rabas, or a raba and a geisha:)

The raba - Jinx - 10-08-2010

@mira: most ships have a cargohold of +1 which is not written down - so they can mount an ID without going to like 1799 cargo units ( we all do love round numbers more than odd ones )

the ID card is nothing but a simple text file - whoever fixed / revised the powercore of the ship may aswell fix the ID card, too ( cause it needs to be adjusted anyway )

now - i m not 100% sure if the corsairs would really fly the raba - seeing as they considered it "useless" and a failure. - corsairs shoved it to the Hogosha just cause loosing the whole project might have been a little too much - but from the corsairs point of view - the raba is a failure... entirely.

and - to be honest - the pirate transport IS better ( mostly cause it has a lot more cargohold ). 1800 cargo ( 1500 with a sufficiently large CAU ) simply isn t enough to satisfy most players.

in terms of game balance - the raba is similar to the pirate transport -- more armour for less cargo ( same agility - and similar size ) - but the cargohold of the pirate transport is considerably higher indeed - right now - the pirate transport also has 70k energy - which is almost twice as much as the raba ... making the pirate transport a much more formidable "pirate" vessel than the raba.
