So. Valve have released ze halloween update for TF 2, which is quite frankly, awesome. the horseless headless horsemann is epic, even though its -really- hard to kill him with a melee weapon (to score the unusual metal required to craft one of the new hats or demoman unique weapon).
the map CP_manor is kind of meh tho, its a bit hard to capture unless you have slightly biased/broken/unfair teams, but maybe thats just me.
so far, ive gotten 6 halloween masks, need 4 more i think to craft a new hat. already have the pumpkin and demoman axe (crafted ze axe instead of the hats, cuz the axe is -awesome-)
tho, tbh, they should have given the player wielded axe the purple halo/glow like the horsemann's axe is, atm its just the axe without any glow, which is slightly meh tbh. oh well.
anyone else played the maps/got the stuff?

lol i play on thier servers mainly. the 2fort, badlands, dustbowl and sometimes badwater maps. glob, add me on steam. i THINK mine is jeeves89.. if that dont work, try my current handle, frozenballz, should work afaik.

Only got two masks but I've got the metal already. What's so difficult about meleeing the Horseman? Be a Scout and bat him once and that's about it.
The manor is based off an existing map, am I right? The layout already looked familiar to me on the first match.
I also play on their servers... <.< Mainly Gravelpit, but sometimes their "vanilla" server, too.

was hard trying to melee him when you have 30 odd players, out of which 15 are not only trying to kill the horsemann, but are actively hunting your melee'ing arse down at the same time. <_<
i got it in the end tho, and i got my axe. im happy.:D

Played Manor. Quite interesting.
Have Headless Horsemans head hat and the Engineer mask only right now.
No Metal yet.
Probably will go after the metal tonight. Scout+Boink+Holy Mackerel
Then I shall trade both the metal and a reclaimed to teh hat crazy people:D
