Greetings,recently,my AI,Averont, was driven out of Liberty by Oakland's commander,Heather Cain.However, a Liberty Navy officer told me that my AI could now continue operating in Liberty.To see the comm channel, I'll tell you the password it is:http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=84264.The reason I chose this kind of password is so that the channel would be secure,unfortunately,some have managed to crack the code.To prevent further misunderstandings,I am now applying for a license so that my AI may operate in Liberty without having to worry about Cain or any Liberty official throwing me out.

My AI unit collects cell samples from willing donors
It flies a standard AI harvester drone

My AI will ask the pilots it meets if they could donate their cell sample but it mainly collects hair and rarely other samples to prevent 'accidents'
The AI will travel to almost all of Liberty as it attracts a large number of people,lawful and unlawful alike
When an AI collects a sample,it immediately replicates it and it is transferred back to the rightful place of the owner,this is a new technology I have only recently developed,so far it has gone through 20 tests of different parts of the human body(of course it is only minor tests such as a hair or a cell of a leg etc etc) without failure

I have seen your transmiission.
I am very confused as to why this Liberty navy Officer asked you to leave Liberty. Ai units that conform with the law are always welcome in Liberty. Please take this as a message that you do not require a License at all. If the same Officer orders it to leave Liberty, make sure it does then contact me. I have no reason to ask of any further questions about the unit in question either.

I do not want to see another agent of the Liberty Security Force conflict with the orders I have handed out myself to this civilian, which are based on the new AI-regulations provided by Fleet Admiral Hale. Or there will be discussions between the superiors of your branch and ours.

"Robert", a licence is not required, and the paperwork to file a request for one does not exist. If your unit is experiencing problems in Liberty, program it to act and communicate in the least hostile way possible. There are too many times to count where AI ships, of all colours and stripes, have shown hostilities or simple ignorance of the law of the land. I believe the only exception to that trend was the Sentient Machine Alliance. If any AI units are percieved to be a threat to security, they tend to be asked to leave or fired upon very quickly.
Anyway, that is a different topic. I hope the advice you've been given is helpful in reprogramming your property, "Robert".
Now, on to the two of you. If one of you isn't allowed to see this, then the other one of you isn't either. Please remember, this was addressed to the Republic, but a representative from the Republic sometimes isn't available. In this case, the matter being addressed is a military one.
As it stands however, both of you are partially right. Nikasha is correct when she says that a licence is not needed, but Samuel is also right to display a suspicion of any AI units, which simply mirrors the Liberty Navy High Command's view on AI.

My AI does not act or communicate in a hostile way.It merely speaks reason and states facts.And I do know no licence is required,but sometimes there may be no one to speak to about the problem as I understand,the officers may be resting after a hard day of work and they have their own private life to tend to.The advice you have given me is still helpful to me however.
I do need this potential problem to be permanently solved however so would someone contact me on this channel so that nobody would exile my AI from Liberty again?

I am part of the Liberty Government. And part of the Liberty Security Forces Primary fleet tasked as an acting Public Liasion. The transmission came from a public member to the government giving me every right to respond. I can also act accordingly with out the permnission of President Jacobi. Please remind yourself of whom you work for and the other parties that work for the Government.

Commodore Christina Robinson, my drone is within the law even when Cain exiled my drone,but what will stop Cain,or even the other Liberty officials from just coming up to my AI and saying:'leave Liberty or I'll destroy you?'
I'm not sure if I mentioned this,but the Oakland threatened to destroy my AI drone if it did not leave Liberty.
But I'll move my drone back inside Liberty as I need to make up for lost time.
