A girl and her cat - Corsair - 11-18-2010 I have a novel-in-progress uploaded to the Stories forum. I would appreciate criticism on it, as the goal is to get it published in time. It's still a long way from being done. Link A girl and her cat - Zelot - 11-18-2010 ' Wrote:I have a novel-in-progress uploaded to the Stories forum. As a non-disco non-rp story, it does not belong in the rp stories and biographies section of the forums. A girl and her cat - Corsair - 11-18-2010 Got a better place to put it? :| Flood? General Discussion? ...Flood? A girl and her cat - Zelot - 11-18-2010 ' Wrote:Got a better place to put it? :| Flood probably, but the stories and bios section is for RP and Disco related stories. A girl and her cat - Corsair - 11-18-2010 I don't think it would be taken nearly as seriously in Flood as in the Stories forum. Besides, people go there to read. I've seen all kinds of off-topic stories there, and have enjoyed them, regardless of the fact that they're not Disco. A girl and her cat - Zelot - 11-18-2010 I know right? Why should we follow the section descriptions at all? They are so lame. Who needs rules and order? A girl and her cat - Corsair - 11-18-2010 I wrote a story. Granted, it's an off-topic story, but the Stories and Biographies forum is where it belongs. I consider this forum to be a place where I can write what I want, and have it read. Sticking to Discovery lore is just so dull an unimaginative. A girl and her cat - Zelot - 11-18-2010 ' Wrote:Sticking to Discovery lore is just so dull an unimaginative. I know right? It's like this is a Freelancer Discovery Gaming forum or something. A girl and her cat - DAnvilFan - 11-18-2010 Append the story with "One day, Liberty Navy Officer opened a book titled "..." and started to read it." Fact of the matter is that a lot of the stories in that forum are just that -- something that has absolutely nothing to do whatsoever with either Freelancer or Discovery, but gets a free pass because there's a few terms thrown here or there. A girl and her cat - Corsair - 11-19-2010 Frankly, this is something I want published. I'll just go somewhere else if I want someone to actually read it because it's not about shooting things. |
