So...Currently I'm in need of something short-lasting, but a fun game. There were so many releases lately, so I'm kinda overwhelmed at the moment. Maybe you could help me a little.

That, as well as Nexus the jupiter incident. And operation flashpoint dragon rising is a fun (very) tactical shooter.

Looks interesting enough, I've currently just tried X3, but I just cba to learn the controls...even though I'm sure it's a great game.

Did you play the plain X3 or X3 Terran Conflict? Also, there are some beastly mods for x3.

X3 Reunion...And well, mods, I'm sure there are great mods, too but I first gotta' learn the controls so I can even be able to play the main game first...

I am pretty sure I tried using my x52 pro saitek joysticks on it, and it worked well. But yea, the controls are a bugger to learn. And the game just seems so... open and airy if you know what I mean.
Oh and you should definitely get x3TC.
There is a reason it is 10 bucks more expensive.:D

Problem with X3 is that you're there, without a single effin' tutorial. You got that HUUUUGE universe and don't have a clue what to do..then the controls ...arggh.

Failed to get the controls and hated the long missions without checkpoints.
so quited it.
