[font=tahoma]Full Name: Andrew Kyle McAllister
Nicknames: Gadget
Age 24
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Personality: Excitable when it comes to Science, very anti-social.
History: Andrew Kyle McAllister was born August 15, 794 A.S. on Planet Manhattan. His mother was a store clerk downtown and his father was a factory worker. His mother was injured in a robbery on the store when Andrew was 6 and was forced to stay at home. Andrews father picked up the slack by upping his hours at the factory to cover costs. The family was ok, and Andrew's mother recovered slowly from her injuries.

At the age of 11, Andrew's mother was diagnosed with liver cancer and passed away a year later. She told him on her death bed that he was meant for great things, that he would change the galaxy as mankind saw it. Andrew vowed from that moment forth that he would do just that.

At the age of 13, Andrew had a dream of a spacial drive...a drive that could span the length and width of Sirius in an instant. Upon waking, he told his father about the dream. His father, an engineer by trade, was very interested in the dream and asked about every detail. Upon completing the story, Andrew's father told him that he had to follow his dream. His father took double, even triple shifts on occasion, to pay for Andrew's schooling in Engineering and Mathematics at a local school in Downtown Manhattan. Andrew graduated with honors in Theoretical Engineering and Temporal/Magnetic Mathematics. His father beamed with pride at his son's accomplishments. Andrew's father died a year after his graduating, working himself to death to fulfill Andrew's dream. Andrew knew there was no turning back. He named the project after his father: Jupiter.

Looking for anyway to earn money, Andrew began working on the basis of the Mathematics that would allow him to begin the design for the drive that would carry him outward into the stars. To the stars no other man had seen. It was around this time that during a terrible accident involving a coffee machine and a cup at a local Coffee shop, that Andrew met Matthew, an astrophysics major at the local college. The two hit it off instantly.

Andrew described to Matthew the science involved in trying to setup the mathematics for the Jupiter project. What would need to be done. What would be needed, what would be need to be configured, and the mystery on the missing material that would be needed to actually make the drive function and be able to jump from one place to another. The amount of power needed would be astronomical.

The two began work, but quickly realized that a project of this size would need adequate funding. Enter Mr. Alonzo Gerrard. A business man who's past was a mystery. The man always wore all dark clothing, dark sunglasses and had an instant dislike for both Andrew and Matthew. The man had overheard about the project some time ago through the grapevine and wanted to help the two struggling scientists with funding on building the project. Of course, Mr. Gerrard would take a majority of the profit from the drive, but the two young scientists would be famous beyond reasoning as the two that created the very first drive that could span the length of Sirius in seconds. It would revolutionize traveling in Sirius as they knew it. No more Tradelanes, no more Jumpgates.

[font=tahoma]All information The Jupiter Project is CLASSIFIED. Level 5 Clearance is required to view. EYES ONLY.

[color=white]The Jupiter Project was a project began by Andrew McAllister around 808 A.S. The ship was composed of a titanium-Kronium alloy that conducts significant amounts of electricity and is extremely light in weight while still being able to take a large number of gee-forces. The vessel is capable of gee forces ranging into the high 10's.

The vessel was a project that took over 8 years to complete. The exact specifications of the vessel are unknown. All authorities and government officials know, is that the project was related to an event on Manhattan where half of a building vanished into thin air after a massive EMP pulse destroyed more than a square mile of electronics and vessels. After police and military responded to the incident, the police discovered a database pertaining to a project only named "Jupiter". All data pertaining to the project was immediately classified with a level 5 clearance by all military and police agencies.

All data past this point requires a Level 5 Clearance. Please re-enter your passcode.

The Jupiter Project is a vessel that is capable of jumping not only across Sirius, but seemingly across the Galaxy as well. The exact method of powering the drive is unknown. There was no documentation on how to power the drive or how to exactly jump across the Galaxy. What was obvious was that there was no targeting system programmed into the computer, so the ship could be possibly anywhere in the Galaxy. Also, there was no instruction on exactly how the ship is able to jump clean across the Galaxy, or how it is able to stop before leaving the Galaxy if flung in that direction.

Pilots, Andrew McAllister and Matthew Shaw, vanished with the building they resided in, along with the ship as well. Their locations are unknown and anyone with information relating to the two, they are encouraged to step forward to any military or police agency on Manhattan.

[font=tahoma]Full Name: Matthew Teasdale Shaw
Nicknames: 'That idiot', 'Math Addict'
Age 23
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Blue
Personality: Slight dyslexia. Asperger's Syndrome. Flighty, but intensely focuses on a given task until it's done, often at the expense of sleep and nutrition.
History: Matthew Teasdale Shaw was born April 22nd, 795 aboard LD-14 in Leeds, prior to the war with Kusari. His father, Teasdale Josiah Shaw, worked for BMM as a supervisor on one of the refinery floors. His mother, Marie Cathrine Shaw, stayed home with him and his two siblings. A brother, Jacob, two years older, and a sister, Lisa, a year younger.

Matthew would often get into trouble at school, as the other students would take offense at his utter focus, believing him to be ignoring them, when in fact, he never even knew they were there. At the age of nine, his mother brought him back home to teach him herself, a move that may or may not have influenced his studies into mathematics and astrophysics. Both of these fields allowed him to spend hours or even days on a single problem, however, a fact that suits his personality fine.

Matt's father gauged the weather properly, and by the time war broke out, Matthew had been studying astrophysics at a prestigious university in Liberty for two years and had met Andrew. The two hit it off well, and Matt was overjoyed to find a problem of sufficient magnitude to keep his attention for months, if not years.
