Hello Lane Hackers. Let me get right to the point. My mother and father were loyal harding working individuals. Now, they simply dont exist. Im not an idiot...people dont just cease to exist without someone wanting them to disappear. God...I wanna see Ageira burn for what they've done...what they've done to me and the countless others like me. Right now Im left with virtually nothing, they have taken everyone! Do you understand what that's like?! I have nothing!! Nothing...except my drive for revenge. Im sending out this transmission because I cant do it alone.

Let me into your organization and give me a chance to fight back! Take back what is mine, what is ours... I have provided a list of credentials. Im sure you will find them satisfactory.

I was the one who revolutionized and developed the highly experimental QSCAN Scanner. This Device was found on most of Ageira high tech probes. These devices were amongst the first batch of probes that Ageira sent, against my STRONG objection, to attempt to penetrate the Leniex Cloud.

We all know what happened next.

After this failure, I was taken from the project and booted from my position. Forced into the job of one of the Regular Mr. Frappuccino Maintainers, I lost all hope for a succesful future and revenge is constantly on my mind.

I recently installed one of the improved QSCANS i worked on as a homebrew project into the CEO's Mr. Frappuchino device. Oh, and a side effect of it is that thus my Mr Frappuchino gives a direct window into the CEO's office. The implications of this might be of very Large value to the Lane Hacker Leadership. After all, I made it to Mactan. I had my doubts of survival when the state turned their attention to me. I'm sure you would be pleased to hear how I reached my current position on Mactan. But before that, allow me to finish my reasons to join you here today.

Bills were always a problem for me. I could hardly live on the loan earned for working as a security officer at launching bay 4, Newark Station. I never studied, neither did I actually bother to learn. I couldn't find any jobs that would actually give me something to live on, credits of course, except for Interspace Commerce. They needed brawn instead of brain. I felt like I was the perfect man for the job.

Once accepted as a security officer, I got introduced to most of the decks at Newark station. I worked there for 4 years, which is enough work experience to know the public areas by heart. It was an easy job, therefore I didn't get payed enough to pay off my electric bills, taxes, such annoyances. I started forging my own loans, reaching up to extra thousands per month. This all went well enough for about a year until Interspace found out about their loss. I got fired straight away and got thrown in Sugarland. After I sat my time out, the deed to my house got revoked. That was about three week ago. That's when I left Erie's orbit to seek a life somewhere else.

The Lane Hackers were known to hold a grudge towards Interspace Commerce, so I thought I would try my luck there. Once I departed from Sugarland, I made my way around New York, looking for a way to gain neutrality to the Liberty Rogues. Them being the most common unlawful around Liberty, I was sure they could point me in the right direction.

When I arrived at Manhattan, I noticed the cargo depots just outside Newark. When I pondered the choice between staying a free citizen of Liberty or becoming a hunted unlawful that would hardly be excepted anywhere, I realized how Interspace Commerce underpayed me, unnecessarily. I hesitated no more, closed in on the depots and opened fire. It took a while for the police to notice me, but when they arrived, 3 of the depots were already destroyed. I tractored some hydrocarbons, which were previously stored away inside the pods, and made my way out of Manhattan's vicinity.

It turned out my plan worked. I thought that destroying property that belonged to the state would turn the Liberty Rogues attitude of shooting me on sight to a less aggressive stance. This was indeed the case. A Liberty Rogue Raider squadron, composed of multiple Bloodhounds, saw what happened at Manhattan. They praised me for making such a daring move in front of one of the most busy area of Liberty. To my surprise, they demanded the hydrocarbons I collected from there. I had no choice but to accept their needs. I was too far at becoming accepted by the Liberty Rogues to now mess up.

After the Rogues finished filling their holds with the cargo, I begged them to show me to one of their bases. After telling a short summary of my past and reasons to join the Lane Hackers, they pointed the location of Buffalo Base in the Badlands on my navigational map. I would have preferred them to escort me to it, but apparently other things were on their mind.

So be it, I thought. Buffalo could be my only ticket to the Lane Hackers. I fired up my cruise engines and set a course to the Badlands.

The trip was hellish. Traveling inside the Badlands supposedly wasn't a smart idea. The bloke that brought that up had a good point... I collided with numerous asteroids, leaving my Starflier damaged beyond repairs once I arrived at Buffalo. I requested permission to dock. After explaining the same thing I did to the Raiders Squadron, and including the meeting with the Raiders Squadron, they cleared one of the docking points for me.

I left my ship at the docking bay and headed to a ship dealer. I had to get myself a new ship before I even wanted to continue my search for the Lane Hackers. The dealer I met understood my situation. After telling him about how I needed to find the Lane Hackers, he said he had the perfect ship for me. A Dagger. The dealer told me the Dagger was the number one choice ship of the Lane Hackers.

My neural net account indicated I had only 30.000 Sirius Credits available for spending, while the Dagger was roughly 40.000. After offering my Starflier, he rounded down to 35.000 credits. Disappointed in the result, I begged for a way he could discount the ship, make an exception or offer me a loan I would pay back within 5 days.

The ship dealer accepted the last option. He shortened the price of the Dagger to 35.000, leaving me able to purchase it. I can't describe the the joy I felt after he exactly told me how to get in touch with the Lane Hackers. I had to go to the Magellan system, to a base known as Mactan.

Two days did it take for me to arrive at Freeport 4 in Magellan. I was just about to set a course inside the Barrier when I heared someone calling my name over my comm systems. I checked my short range scanners, and spotted someone known as Mr. Sanguinetti. When he got closer to Freeport 4, I could only hope for something he would have been. A Lane Hacker, he knew my name, he knew why I was in Magellan.

Mister Sanguinetti said he had some equipment for me. He transfered a Train Cruise Disruptor and an Advanced Cargo Scanner. I gladly accepted the equipment as I could see this Hacker was not an inexperienced one. He even showed me the way to Mactan, filled out the paperworks needed for me to get access to most of the station's services and also introduced me to some Hackers that assign the lower ranked ones to objectives.

After mister Sanguinetti handled all this, he departed, only to leave the rest of my training to myself. Two weeks long I was loyal to the Hackers of Mactan. Since then, I learned quite a bit from them. They teached me how to effectively disable trade lanes, they teached me how to survive as a criminal, teached me everything I needed to know to become one of them.

I think that's everything the person who reads this needs to know. The only thing I now need to do is hoping I will be accepted as a trainee.

My name is Kelsey Falconer, but of course, you already knew that. This message will be breif, I don't know how long it I have before the server shuts down, or until the lab technicians work out what I have done.

Until recently I was a lab technician at Pueblo station, you know, the menial tasks like preparing the equipment before an experiment and managing the computer system. As a lab tech, my time at Ageira wasn't to bad, but I saw things, terrible things...

The blatant disregard for the safety of those working on the station, and infact those in the entire Colorado system was obscene, they would push experiments to dangerous limits, often leaving the test chambers themselves and forcing people such as security guards and cleaners to control the experiments for them, guiding them over the comms system. These people weren't trained or paid to do this and were often exposed to dangerous levels of radiation in the process, but they had no choice you see, and if they refused they quickly disappeared off to Sugarland.

I would hear those that had been mistreated by their superiors whisper of the Lane Hackers, and those that trusted me divulged their knowledge. They spoke of the Lane Hackers as the saviours of Liberty, who would one day sweep in and put everything right.

Unfortunately, my association with these people did not go unnoticed and soon after I was 'requested' to live permanently on Pueblo Station.

I knew they were monitoring me, watching who I talked to and where I went, and I knew I had to get out.

One of my friends in security risked his own life to get me off of the station aboard a DSE freighter headed for Erie. Lost, alone and desperate I could only think of one place to turn, the elusive Lane Hackers. I managed to 'commandeer' a Starflier and after attempting* to send a message to the Lane Hackers, I quickly set into action.

*Mr.Sanguinetti informed me that this message was not received, whether it was filtered by the authorities or due to a mistake on my part I do not know.

I'm rambling, I need to keep this short; I'm sure you have a good idea of what happened next anyway. I quickly equipped my ship with some new weapons from a Junker base near planet Manhatten, and then a Stunpulse gun from Detroit Munitions, my employee codes still worked so it seems Ageira hadn't noticed my absence yet.

As I left detroit munitions I was ambushed by some Xeener scum launching an attack on Ageira, fortunately I was able to dispose of them relatively quickly with some aid from a small group of Rogues who I queried about the Lane Hackers. They told me to head for their base in the Badlands, apparently the ship dealer there would be able to tell me more. On arrival he welcomed me to unlawful life, and explained that my best bet to make contact with the Hackers would be to fly to their base in Magellan, he even provided me with a used Dagger fighter, one of a class prefered by the Hackers.

When I arrived, things were as I expected: The Hackers didn't trust me, most asked me to leave. I tried to make a name for myself by launching a hit and run raid on Sheffield Station but while doing so I was contacted by Mr.Sanguinetti, who promptly set up a meeting with a Lane Hacker at Mactan. I was met by a man named Medea who identified himself as Mactan's Janitor, he provided me with a package essential to Lane Hacker operations and convinced the citizens of Mactan to give me some assignments.

I guess I managed to impress them with my flying, because I am no longer unwelcome amongst them.

The Lane Hacker Personnel Department - Kallistratos - 06-02-2010

...hack.initiated...decryption..in..progress...
...injecting.transmission...

Greetings, Kallistratos here. I'll make this brief.

I've never been in the employment of corporations like Ageira or Interspace Commerce. My father was a technician for Ageira for over 20 years. He should be retired, living a relaxed and tranquil life. He should.

Ageira broke him. They stripped him of his retirement, his savings; of everything he worked for. They drove him to suicide. They shattered my family. My mother has lost her sanity, now paranoid of everything. My brother disappeared, no one knows where he's gone too. I suspect the worst, he was the closest to Dad.

I've vowed to destroy Ageira and similiar mega-corporations for what they've done to my family and to others.

I come to you to help fulfill that goal, of making Ageira suffer for its cruel practices.

As such, four days ago I sold all my assets in an effort to purchase a Starflier. Once in space, I proceeded to raid trade lanes and cause disturbances across the New York system.

I was able to assist a lone Rogue pilot on an ambush, and he showed me the location of their Buffalo Base in the Badlands. From there, using goods looted from my prey, I upgraded to a Dagger. The Rogues of Buffalo Base, upon hearing my tale pointed me towards your Mactan Base.

Entering the Magellan system, I was contacted by Medea. He was most helpful in getting me situated in Mactan and allowing me to help with a few details in the area. He also provided me with a package that has been very handy.

I have since then worked details for your group, hoping to gain your trust and approval.

I've rambled on far too long for safety's sake, I'll trail this with confirmation of my endeavors.

God speed.

Good day you probably already know my name from the first moment I contacted you. I sent you transmission of my desire to join the Lane Hackers using alias Tom Waits so nobody from Ageira could trace a message to me. Except you of course.

I worked as a quiet man, I tried to stay in nobody way. I was one of the computer technicians in Ageira working on their servers and running the diagnostic on their machines. I always felt like in prison there, but I didn't have anywhere else to work but there. Until my best friend and my college didn't disappear. It become little suspicious to me that he disappeared after he messed up some project of Ageira, so I decided to find out what happened. Soon as I started asking questions around I noticed I have been followed to my home and back to work everyday. After that I started getting threats to stop searching around what really happened. I realised only way to protect my family and put the end of that damn corporation was to join the Lane Hackers.

At the time I am on Mactan base, after I finished 6 steps of my training to have a chance to actually hack this channel.I am going to give you brief overview what has been happening with me for a last few days when I decided to join you.

The first step as I was instructed was making a fake name so I could do this task without anybody knowing it was me, so I used an name from old Sol singer that most of the everyday people wouldn't remember. Tom waits was my new alias, I used it to get a Starflier from a ship dealer on Manhattan.

When I launched to space I decided to visit Rochester base to buy some better equipment. At that point I got message that my progress has been monitored by Lane Hackers and that I will be awaited on Mactan Base. I visited Detroit Munitions for the last time, as I upgraded my guns using my dead friend's ID I left the facility soon as possible. Next step was to get in touch with Liberty Rogues and became neutral with them. After attacking and killing couple of Bounty Hunters they decided I am good enough for them, and they told me the location of their Buffalo Base in New York system. Where I came, landed, and bought the Dagger LF. After that I went to Magellan system, I used neutral net entry that some Junker sold me to get to the Magellan from where I followed Hacker patrol to find Mactan Base.

When I got there I had pleasure of meeting Mr. Sanguinetti in person, who met me with two other Lane Hackers that were there to help me get missions from Mission Commissar until I gained enough trust to get them alone. Mr.Jax and Mr.Medea were very helpful to me to get situated on Mactan base.I worked hard on my assignments and Mission Commissar gave me my new IFF transponder to install it on my ship, and the new ID.

Name:Beta.Dagger
Ship: Dagger, Condition:Used, but in a great shape
[Image: th_Daggerschart.jpg]
Bio: I was born on Planet Erie. My mother was a Zoner trader, father - unknown to a certain point. At age 16 I had finished Liberty pilot school, and started thinking what to do with my life. I had offers from LPI and Liberty Navy to join them, but i never got around to accept them. On my 17th b-day my mom came up to me and said: "well, i think it's time you finally find out about who your father was. I am sorry for not telling you this earlier, but i didn't think you were ready. I was once invited to a party on Freeport 4. I was a little drunk when a handsome man came up to me, and we started talking, one thing lead to another, you know... The next morning we woke up, and i asked, who was he, on which he replied "you don't want to know", but i was curious, so i asked again. He realized that i will not stop until i find out, so he said "The name's Beta.Dagger, i work for the Lane Hacker Guard, but please... do not ever try to find me, it will be better for us all." and then he left... After 9 months you were born... I am sorry for not telling you who he was earlier, but that's all i know about him. I know it sounds like a regular party for you, but it was the best night of my life, and that's why i named you after him..." I had to find out about this man, but even secret folders on planet Erie's computers didn't give me any info on who i should call "father". Since i hadn't killed any Rogues or Junkers in my life, Rochester base was neutral, so that's where i went, and started to ask around. Not many knew him, but who did, said that he might be the best fighter, most generous and most handsome indie Lane Hacker they had ever known. This made me want to find him so badly i headed back to Erie and told my mother i was going to join the 'Hackers, i told her that i wanted to be just like him, maybe even better. She understood me (which was a surprise for me), and knew that if she staid in Liberty, she would get arrested, so we said our last goodbyes near Fort Bush. She went to Kusari, i headed back to Rochester, and started digging up info on the Lane Hackers, and how to join them. Soon i had found the 6-step guide, and immediately got to work. After killing a couple of Xenos and destroying 2 storage depots near Newark, i had a cruiser patrol on my tail, but Rogues were neutral now, so i ran to Buffalo. The ship dealer there offered me a new Dagger, but it was too expensive, i couldn't afford it even after selling my Starflier with all the pilots in hold. But then an outcast offered to sell me his used Dagger, and i took it without thinking. It was in bad shape, and i had very little credits to fix it, but somehow i managed to do that, mounted a few guns that the rogues had to offer and went to Magellan to look for the Lane Hacker base. I heard it was somewhere on the far side of the system. Killed a couple of Bounty Hunter piranhas on the way, and found the base. Everyone was looking at me when i docked... I knew they dont trust me, but one of them told me about storage depots in Manchester, and the fact that bounty hunters love them very much, and wouldn't want the depots to get destroyed. That might get me some trust, so i went to manchester, destroyed the depots, ran back, but still it wasnt enough for the Hackers to let me do missions. At least now the equipment dealer could sell me some guns, and a shield. I went to the bar, and the only one offering me a mission was an Outcast trader, who had seen some BHs on the way, and wanted them dead. I thought "why not? That might get the hackers to trust me finally, and the salary is good too.", so I took it.
Barracudas. Damn. It took me some time to kill them all, and my ship was badly damaged, but i did it, got paid and repaired my Dagger. The next 2 missions (already given by Hackers) were easy-against-piranhas ones, but then a base destruct mission came. I was like "ah, some wep platforms, whatever", but when i got into scanner range of the base, my jaw staid open for a half minute or so.
At least Mactan sent 2 Daggers to help me with it, but it was me who killed all the objects in there anyway. Some more missions later i had to kill one of BH leaders in a Barracuda, while 2 hammerheads were shooting me, did that too, had to repair the ship, but i was alive. Barely surviving at the missions, i reached the point where the equipment dealer was ready to give me Lane Hacker ID, which meant i had earned their trust, finally... So here I am now, hacking this channel, wondering... Will you accept me, Lane Hackers?

--- Message from LH-Cypher ---

My name is LH-Cypher and i was a new recruit for the Lane Hackers. Untill i got caught in one of the frequent Ion storms that have been hitting the Sirius sector lately. During one of the first storms my ship suffered a total black-out in Omicron-Alpha. The last thing i saw was an Outcast base. Hoping i would get there in time. But i was to late.

Due to the excellent life-support systems of the l3GS-1 Lane Hacker Gunship, i managed to stay alive. With only 5% power output remaining. It was just enough to keep the analog machine running. Only i was drifting through space without any control over my gunship!

When the storm dissipated after a few days. I managed to get my power output up to 40%. So i could scan where i was. The scanner didn't look good at all. I had drifted into Nomad space!!!

During a hellish two months of searching for a way back to friendly space. I encountered many Nomad ships, unknown anomalies and isolated planets. Using the knowledge of my Lane Hacker training i succeeded to avoid hostile contact. At the same time i was able to collect important data about the Nomad sectors.

Finaly i found the jumphole to Omicron-Alpha. I plotted a course towards it and freedom was looking me in the face again. But behind my back the Nomads where planning an ambush. I though i had reached Outcast space undetected. It gave me a euphoric feeling, much better than cardamine. Only 10 kilometers from the jumphole i noticed the Nomads on a interception course with my ship. And they were closing in FAST.

I reached the jumphole and entered it. Hoping the Nomads would not follow me into Omicron-Alpha. I was wrong. The small fleet followed me into Oucast space and my situation looked very grimm. They were gaining on me and my weaponsystems where still offline. Suddenly my scanners showed a massive Outcast fleet heading towards my position.

They had detected the Nomads in their system and where on their way to exterminate them. I still suffer heavy damage from the Nomad attack, before the Oucasts could engage. Once they did the battle ended quickly in the Oucasts favor. The Nomads were eliminated and i got my ship repaired in Omicron-Alpha.

Now i'm searching for fellow Lane Hackers. Hoping to get back into your ranks and assist where ever possible against Liberty corruption. My faith in the Hacker goals are fortified by my experience and i'm ready for service.

This is Samuel 'Bull' Burton, if someone is tapping into this network package then listen well.

I "use" to be a light fighter wing pilot of Agiera till last week I was left to burn and rot in Keplar on a convoy mission. My job was to disfigure and atomize any pilot cocky enough to take on an Agiera convoy. I did everything out there from using missiles to photon weaponry during my stint here.

During the last convoy run it was listed to take a week and half but on the last leg, Xeno's broke out of the particle clouds, jumping the convoy as we lined up for the final trade lane to Colorado. We were horribly out gunned; during the fight most of the men were spaced who took part in the trip. They broke off the engagement after four of their ships were relocated to the four points on the system at the cost of a transport and three of our five fighter escorts.

The last transport had breeches on multiple decks and I saw several people sucked into the blackness of space in that system, flailing as they turned end over end till they winked out of sight, frozen in position. The Gull class transport named G-835, or Gurdy as the crew called her was facing a grim future inside that jump gate as we entered the final lane.

We lucked out on the final leg with no disruptions, and both fighters ejected all of our remaining nanobots as per orders to keep company assests intact. We knew we weren't going to make the jump and broke off formation to hold near the gate for help. Gurdy acknowledged the thanks as it used the remaining eight nanobots to repair her hull. It entered the gate without saying a word as we watched the ring spin, generating the magnetic force to hurl the transport to Colorado, and saftey.

Pueblo sent a transmission that a fighter wing was dispatched with repair supplies, neither of us could reply as our equipment was largely fried.

We spent hours next to the gate waiting for that fighter wing or even anyone that flew by. I felt like I was in the grave already.

With our oxygen reservers slowly becoming containminated from over use, Lewis Browski, my wingman volunteered to go up the tradelane, I acknowledged his reception with an attempted wing waggle that only served to make the ship groan and threaten to break on me altogethor.

He entered the lane and shot off into the distance; I was alone again, a reoccuring story in my life as it were. I'm not sure what happened to Lewis, I saw a flash of light from up the line after a couple of hours. It may have been him, I'll never know.

I reached under my pilot seat, deactivating my engine and weapons in an effort to save on H-Fuel and oxygen use. I could feel the solar winds brush the hull of my ship as I rocked from the occasional tug of a millenium old solar flare.

I lost co-...

I fell alseep from oxygen deprivation not much longer after that, from what I was told when I finaly woke up from a foggy pit of hell that I felt like I spent hours climbing out of.

The crew that saved me detoured and dropped me off on Colorado at a shipping plateform. I spent a week working my accounts to scrap togethor for a starflier to reach Pueblo.

I'm leaving with my retirement benefit of locking this Rhino down to blow up on deck. Maybe those Gurdy bastards will get sucked out of the breech in the station's hull.

I'm heading for the free worlds of Cortez and Magellan. I'm attaching information to this audio log, Samuel 'Bull' Burton singing out.

Good day, gentlemen. My name is Cristopher Charles W. Ross. I'd like to join you. I was working in one of Ageira sub-groups (Detroit Munitions) for three months untill now. However recent events (including low payments; cancellization of free parking at work) enlightened me about my useless job I've done so far. It brings me no money, no expierence, no fame. I wish to get all of those. That's why I'm here.

Yesterday I've checked your manual, stole Dagger from some freelancer and launched to Mactan. On Mactan technicians outfitted my Dagger with proper equipment, now I'm ready to fly. For my being on Mactan I also met mister Sanguinetti (with him and another recruit we managed to seed chaos in California traffic today) and Elektra King.
