Hello Hackers. I have heard about your noble cause against Ageira and the corruption of Liberty . I work with Ageira as a security analyst at key operations in Colorado - this job is terrible. While I do enjoy the challenges it provides, some strange things have been happening lately. My co-workers are being switched around and removed for no apparent reason. Some of my close friends have been jailed for comprimising Ageira's systems and software! It seems strange... Whenever Ageira cannot meet a deadline a convenient crash or bug allows them to ask for more money from the Government. The executives are corrupt for sure. One time I wrote some code for a trade-lane security system... When my friend told me the code had been changed to make it virtually defenceless to pirates, I knew something was wrong. They were using the increased pirate activity as an excuse for more funding! It's all about the money to those guys. We workers are pushed to the limit designing programs and products for them while they comprimise our work to get more money! These events have made me seriously reconsider my position here at Ageira.
I hope Ageira doesn't know about my ... "unlawful" activities. I have hacked several neural net accounts and listened in on secure LSF comms channels. It sure does gets boring at work sometimes! So far i've been able to cover my tracks... But eventually they'll find out what i've done.
I believe i'll be good at disrupting Ageira/Interspace traffic as I know about many of the Ageira operations in Liberty. I know all about the security systems of not only Ageira, but IND and Interspace also. I also can access Navy/Police comms channels with a high success rate, so fellow Hackers and I can interfere with the =LSF= and [SA]. As I was a good fighter when I was younger, I might be useful in a more direct combat role. You can decide what you want me to do.
About my flying experience... I used to fly often in my younger years, my Hawk was a common sight in the New York and California systems. That was until it was confiscated by the Police for illegal modifications. I should be able to hack some neural nets to get some funds for a ship. Will a Starflier do?
The net is closing around me. I need to escape from mainstream Liberty, the LPI will be after me once Ageira gets a coworker to rat me out. Maybe they'll blame a problem on me, gladly handing me over to the men in blue. Lane Hackers, you have to help me. I will be leaving for Planet Manhattan tomorrow.

Don't bother tracing the source of this message. It will lead to the terminal of a zoner on freeport 4 who has no idea how to hack even the most basic of systems or who I am. I infected his pc with gamma-1 several years ago, as a precaution in case this would happen. It should still work since the guy only uses this thing to watch XXX-movies anyway.
Time to introduce myself, I am a senior security administrator on the Detroit munitions base in New York. My job is to keep anybody who is not part of Ageira technologies out of our computer systems. Or at least, that is what I was untill yesterday. Then I stumbled onto something during a routine check, it was nothing more then a small system bug, allowing an experienced hacker entry into a single internal mail sent by one of the directors.
Out of curiosity I decided to read the mail before fixing the bug. What I read changed something in me. It is all true, every last rumor! I didn't know what to do and made a mistake. I printed the mail and took it to my boss, the CEO of security administration. He reacted shocked and said he would take immediate action and that I was not allowed to talk to anybody about this.
It wasn't untill I got back to my office that I realized what he was really shocked about: The fact that I discovered the mail, not what was in it. I also realized what those immediate actions would be and that I had to get the hell out of there.
I hitched a ride on a light arms transport to Manhattan, where I am currently hiding. I am dire need of another place to hide, and for someone with my skillset the Lane Hackers are by far the best option. As part of the deal I can offer you security codes and nearly full system acces to the Detroit munitions base, at least untill they figure out how to override them.
I have to admit I am not a very good pilot, I flew a couple days in one of those simulator things and had some practice in a real starflier once even, but other then that I spend most of my life behind a computerscreen. Right now I am desperate enough though to buy a starflier under a fake name and go out there and take on Ageira all by myself.

Background:
Civillian whose business was crushed by the corporates in order to monopolise trade. Used cardamine on the side for years, distributed cardamine on the streets of manhattan, ultimately shut down when a corporate requested that the streets be cleared of trash.
2) Describe why you want to hit back at your corporate oppressors.
The corporate monopolies have illegalised cardamine, in order to drive to the fringes those who would consider alternatives for medical treatment. Wants to hang with hackers in order to hopefully one day hack the Libery Navy's archives on their experimentation with Nomad's in order to find out what truly happened.
3) Describe as specifically as possible which of our methods and goals you are best equipped to assist The Lane Hackers in accomplishing.
Lanehacking ie outright blatant piracy, I"m good at that, smuggling stuff I'm ok at, but more of a fighter than a smuggler, like doing a wide mix of things.

I've got these weird marks on my neck, and the headaches that happen now are like hell on earth.
After that, they threw me into the jail system, big penalty for trashing the LPI's depot.
I lucked out while in prison, talked to 'The Don of Cellblock 8', he recommended a good lawyer and I'm out now, freed by the appeals court on a technicality, and now I'm looking for work.
So I was thinking about what to do, I had a grudge against the Bounty Hunters since way back, a mate crossed someone and got squashed by them, and the LSF had just busted me, I couldn't get a job cleaning the sludge tanks on Pittsburgh because of my record, I'd built up a rep for piracy in Asian space so Kusari hated me, I didn't speak German but otherwise the Bundschuh were cool, but most of all, I wanted more cardamine, and to get cardamine in Manhattan, you gotta hang with the Rogue's or the Hackers.

I have been working as a Security officer of the Ageira, my former oppressors.
My last mission was securing an Ageira convoy on their way to Kusari.
In Galileo system i received a strange message trough secure communications, from an unknown source. It said something like :

It wasn't a radio message, it just appeared on my navigation computer, instead of a map. Weirdest thing.
When finished reading it a few times, I noticed my convoy already entered the trade lane.
Then it happened. Screams over the radio. Screams about a Fleet shooting the convoy. Silence.
I could only guess they were all dead.
But there was time for me to escape still. Adrenalin was pumping trough me, i had to think quickly.
I cruised into the nearby asteroid field, and hidden myself in it. I killed the engines and power in my ship, so long range scanners would think of me as of simple rock.
I remained there for a long time.
Finally, i decided to move. I have found a Jump hole in that asteroid field, that took me to familiar Colorado system.
I moved quickly trough more Asteroids. I didn't dare to use the Trade lanes, in case they are still looking for me.
Luckily, Colorado is a very well known system for me, so I had no trouble remembering where that New York jump hole is.
It took me right next to a Junker base, a base where I could search for my shelter on.
Junkers aren't very hospital. But they made me a proposal that i couldn't refuse.
I had to get rid of that ship anyway! They offered me new identity card and some Cardamine, in exchange for my ship.
Seen the news lately? That "Terrorist" attack? Yes, that was it. And those were not terrorists.
I know. That is why I am being chased. They know that one is missing, and they can't afford to let it go.
I have been on that base for quite a long, when they offered me a ride to Manhatan. Oh, good old Manhatan.
I am on Manhatan at this time, and I am sending this message because I think they might found out my new identity.
I don't doubt Junkers would sell them that information for some piece of junk.

I have no friends and family. Ageira had my father, my only living relative, imprisoned on a trumped up charge so that they could obtain the rights to a software patent he had developed, ruining both his name and the name of his entire family line.
I am not the best pilot in the cluster, nor am I the most technically savvy, though I learn fast, as this hidden note portrays, and most importantly I follow orders well due to military training. Hackers, I come before you because I think we can help eachother. I don't have much time here, but there is a message attached to this hack from me detailing my life in short and explaining everything more clearly. That message is at the end of this message.
My hacking background isn't very long as I'm only 17, but I have managed to hack my appartment's lights system, aswell as my parents computers, and my most proud achievement, Interspace. Long story short, my dad is a wealthy shareholder of Interspace, and well he wanted me to become like him, but I once managed to hack their system and I memorized some basic trade patters. More info on that in the attachment.
Why do I want to hit back? Well both my parents became wealthy from Interspace and they seem not to care at all about anyone else in the galaxy. They always look down upon anyone in our social class and tend to metaphorically insult them. I hate this, so for the common person I want to see Interspace come down and show my parents aswell as their filthy friends what it is to be a common man, a person that keeps our ways alive.
I believe I would be more usefull in your first method. I do know some trade patterns, however they are changed over time. But I do know basic codes so I can get close enough to a company ship and then jump it. I might also be able to give information from Interspace considering the fact that my parents think I'm visitng my sister who is attending University in Bretonia. I could squeeze some information out of my father.

So this is what I am left with selling cardamine on the streets of Manhattan. My father arrested our home lost, scholarships to universities down the drain.... This is what they did to us. My father took the fall for his boss at Ageira Technologies and my family was left with nothing. I was forced to leave college hack ATMs, and sell drugs to help keep food on the table. But there is always a way, I have made some contacts with a few junkers. During a exchange of cardamine one of them filled me in on a group that has as much animosity against the corrupt corporations as I do. Lane hacker eh? I like the sound of that.

Master, I have successfully exfiltrated Missouri as of yesterday, best of my gratitude owed to Junkers. These bribes have well drained my credits though.
