I hope this is the right place for this.
I was wondering if anyone has, or knows where I can get, all the original Vanilla ship models in .obj format. I don't need the textures, just the base models. I'm wanting to undertake the task of modeling them with todays standards just for fun.
So if anyone could help me that'd be much appreciated.

Get Milkshape 3D Trial. Import them, disable Texture and export as .obj.
