Name Problem - Pacific - 12-04-2010
Alright here is the deal. I am flying today with my ship and on the chat list I see Lt.Raki.Dimitrov. Now I have no problem with the first name but my problem is with his last name. See I use the name Dimitrov for my Main RP char and I figured I wont see anyone using that name but was wrong. I contacted the guy and ask him if he can rename he dined. I ask a second time more hard and of course explaining to him that I use the Name for my main char and he can very easily destroy my Rp. I asked for his forum account here but he didn't give it to me. I want suggestions before I consult admis for a possible rename of his char.

Woah....I really don't see this one flying well.His similar last name to yours won't give you the right to have his renamed,and I don't think the admins will even give this a second thought.

So what ? In real life you can't tell someone with the same name as yours to rename aswell, can you ? It's pretty much normal. Unless it's the same first -and- last name, that'd be a little problematic, but only last name ? Nah dude.

In my Opinion:
- You - yelled at him with CAPS Lock, which I found unnecessary.
- In the Real World there are other that is named with the same lastname.
- I don't find a good reason why he needs to change his name. Both of you have different first names - thats good enough.
- If anything happens, both of you have different IP Addresses.
So, leave him be.
and no, it's not me - but I'm backing up for him as a Server Angel member.

Ivan had a Nomad trial called Quetzatcoatl (notice the deliberate typo, because Quetzalcoatl is my 'sair GB), and was apparently PMed many times by people thinking he was me.
He ruined my RP Q_Q
But yeah, it's not that big of a deal, I'm sure the people whose opinions matter to you will know it's not you.
