[color=#330000]Hola dear Zoners,
I'd like to talk to you about a certain event that happened to today in the Omega-49 system. You see the two of my wingmen, Marcia Vargas and Angelina Castilla, and I were passing through Omega-49 in direction from the Dublin Jumphole to the Omega-47 one. And at around ten or maybe fifteen klicks from Gran Canaria a certain Kusari Explorer showed up, one belonging to the Indians, a group that has been a slight trouble to our pilots for some time now. Now, if it was outside of your space we would've engaged that sucker on the spot, but considering that Omega-49 is one huge no firing zone, since the whole system is owned by you, the Zoners, and because Gran Canaria was a bit too close we decided to keep our cool. Ofcourse our Indian friend didn't really plan on doing so aswell and even when a Zoner, sadly I don't think I know his name but his ship was called 'Cthulhu', asked him to keep the weapons down the Indian just mumbled something about the talking being over and after a few more seconds he opened fire. I've highlighted that moment in the ship's logs I'll send you at the end of the transmission. So ofcourse after opening fire the Zoner gave up and simply asked the aggressor to try and keep it away from Gran Canaria. Sadly that didn't really happen, atleast that's how I see it because there were a few times when that armored gunboat crossed the 5 klicks NFZ distance from the planet and eventually when he noticed it was pointless and that we were wining the fight he jumped into the sun to escape our fighters. *She sighs* A pathetic move if you ask me...

Now I usually wouldn't contact you about such a thing, but there was a slightly interesting thing on that gunboat - the weapons he, she or it used to break the peace of Omega-49 were Zoner Gunboat Turrets and for me it's a bit silly to hand over weapons to people who break your laws just to get a shot at their enemies...

Oh, and considering the whole Theta events that happened lately, you might not really believe us. So please talk to the captain of that Zoner transport I mentioned above about it. He seemed like a reasonable a person.

To Ms Sangre, and all concerned parties.
I was in fact the ship captain that was passing through, having been moving from Lanzerote to Gran Canaria after dropping off a load of Plutonium. Ms Sangre actually accompanied me to Lanzerote from the Omega 47 jump hole. When I ran across the four involved ships (the Indian and three Corsairs), we were about 7k from Gran Canaria itself, and there was some back-and-forth going on which I could clearly see ending in violence. That much is evident from the log Ms Sangre herself has posted.

While you were not obliged to hold fire by Zoner codes (given that the No-Fire Zones only extend 5k away from stations and Gran Canaria, as opposed to throughout the whole system), I could see that you were close enough to Gran Canaria for potential problems to arise, i.e. the fight rolling towards the planet by accident, and innocent Zoners being hit in a crossfire. Due to this, I politely asked the combatants to hold fire and take their fight into a neighbouring system. I can also vouch for the fact that the Indian did start the fight, although this is irrelevant to the Zoners besides for setting a historical record of what happened. The fight did not come within the 5k range of Gran Canaria at any point (although the Indian gunboat did come close on several occasions), and I gave the combatants a reminder to keep their distance:
[04.12.2010 14:02:28] 'Cthulhu': T-To the c-combatants down there, p-please remember your Z-Zoner hosts like their g-guests to refrain..
[04.12.2010 14:02:49] 'Cthulhu': from fighting w-within 5k of G-Gran Canaria's docking ring. J-Just to remind you.
[04.12.2010 14:03:05] The_Aurora: Quiron: And dont get close here, please, dont get killed a civilian accidently7
[04.12.2010 14:03:09] Reina.Sangre: Talk to the Indian, not us...
[04.12.2010 14:03:10] Marcia.Vargas: You could just be helpful and remove that aggressor... how would that be?
[04.12.2010 14:03:33] The_Aurora: Quiron: Its not our business, Senor
[04.12.2010 14:03:38] 'Cthulhu': T-Technically th-there's nothing I can do, b-because the f-fight started outside the 5k zone, and it h-hasn't entered it either
[04.12.2010 14:03:43] Marcia.Vargas: Zoners and their funny neutrality...
I couldn't comment on the fact that the gunboat in question was using Zoner turrets, given that Freeport 10 does not possess them, nor the authorisation to sell them. You would have to contact one of the larger Zoner authorities, such as the TAZ, Omicroners or OSI to settle any grievances you may have about that. But yes, I can vouch for Ms Sangre's words being authentic and truthful. A full list of those present would be: 'Cthulhu' (Zoner), The_Aurora (Zoner), The_BASEMENT_Cat (Zoner), Reina.Sangre (Corsair), Angelina.Castilla. (Corsair), Marcia.Vargas (Corsair) and The.Dakota (Indian).

If I can help in any way, just say.
