Hello!
I just started playing Discovery (finished the Single Player), and I got to say that it's a great mod.
I joined the Bretonian Armed Forces (not to Player Faction yet, just bought an ID) because i like the Army, and the Bretonian form of gouverment. Also I can't wait to join the Tau War.
Should i join the BAF Player Faction? (also can you please give me a registration link).
Currently I have the starter Junker ship, but i'm getting moneys for a better one. What do you think about the Templar (or shoud i just go with the Crusader)? Do you have other ship recomandations (i would like a Heavy/Very Heavy fighter)?
Is there any way of entering Tau 31 from Bretonia ( the Leeds jump gate is currently under Kusari occupation).

Just try some ship/layouts.
The cool thing about disco is that some people can be really good in some ships where other people are really bad in them.
if you want to gain some battle experiance I suggest you patrol Dublin.
Quite some activity. Lots of insane pirates/miners/armed forces/hunters/freelancers/merc.
On a other note...
Someone will post a 'useful linkie post' soon enough.
