Source: Lieutenant Colonel Jayce Brooks, Provost-Marshal Location: Coalition People's Warship "Social.Credit" Subject: Technology Request ![]() Greetings, Unioners. I am lieutenant colonel Jayce Brooks of the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army. As you know, both of our factions have a long and sorted history together, from the humble beginnings of the Sirius Coalition to our operations with the LRF and Ben Warner. Not only in the Coalition, but in my past, I have worked with the Unioners. During my time with the Rogues, I often assisted the Unioners in their raids in Hudson and Bering. Before that, as an independent smuggler, I supplied Unoner bases with hull panels and ship-building materials regularly. Specifically those which were necessary to construct your Arbeiter fighters. So, you can see, I am not some simple whack-job Freelancer looking to take advantage of your fine equipment. As some of you may know, I am rather fond of Light Fighters. They are one of the few ship classes I am truly proficient in, as well as the Coalition Storm-class gunship. My Loki light fighter, so graciously provided by the Red Hessians, is unable to utilize our highly-destructive Kalashnikov energy weapons. The heart of my business with the Unioners is to obtain some Unioner "Protector" class nine and eight Neutron cannons, two of each, for use on my Loki light fighter. In return, I am willing to pay a nominal sum of one million credits per class eight weapon, and two million credits for each class nine weapon. The total cost of the weaponry would come up to six million Sirius Credits. This price is negotiable, to a limit of ten million Sirius Credits, to be paid in full before my acquisition of the weaponry. This offer is a one-time deal, and it would be rather foolish of you to turn down this amount of money, and to ignore a chance to bring our groups closer together. For the Revolution, for the Red Dawn, for the Premier! ///////END TRANSMISSION///////
To the Unioners - Wuselkobold - 12-06-2010 <<<incoming transmission>>> <<<establishing visual communications>>> ![]() Guten Tag Herr Brooks. After giving your request some brief consideration I have decided to deny it. You might have been a useful asset in your past, so have been and still are, others. But with the day you joined the SCRA you obviously decided to leave all that behind you, now didn't you? And for the chance of getting closer to you? The SCRA is a military organisation, striking everywhere across sirius. Doing so with our weapons might leave a poor impression of ourselves on possible costumers you are shooting right? Shooting stuff with our toys is like us shooting it ourselves, and I'm not keen on going through complaints just because one hotshot fighter jockey isn't satisfied with the equipment issued by his navy. Another reason for rejecting this request ist, that the SCRA has never been known for sharing with their allies and friends. Not even your closest allies are allowed to use some guns or even ships ouf yours, not mentioning even being permitted to dock and trade with your stations. Those peanuts you are offering us are nothing than an insult and would be close to a diplomatical affront, if we'd pay any consideration for conventional diplomacy. Have a nice day. - Bernd Schuster <<<transmission ends>>> <<<signal lost>>> To the Unioners - Jayce - 12-06-2010 ///////INCOMING TRANSMISSION///////
Source: Lieutenant Colonel Jayce Brooks, Provost-Marshal Location: Coalition People's Warship "Social.Credit" Subject: Reconsideration ![]() Though I don't doubt the accuracy of some of your statements, I do disagree with a few. First off, I have my own ways of choosing which targets I kill. The vessel I am requesting weapons for is primarily a reconnaissance ship. The reasoning behind having powerful weaponry mounted upon the vessel is because scouts often come under heavier attack than wings of fighters. Because they operate as lone units, they need to be able to defend themselves should they be unable to complete their primary goal - getting away from the combat to gather information. Another qualm I have is that we have, on occasion, shared our technology with other groups. Many of which I am not at liberty to disclose, but one I am able to is a multitude of Kalashnikovs and Dragunovs to the LRF|. Finally, through my efforts in the Sirius Coalition, I have been put in command of the Gazprom wing - One of the only sources of H-Fuel in Sirius aside from the GMG. I may be able to arrange a shipment of it to Pacifica, if that were to help you make a decision. How does 4800 units sound? I do ask you to reconsider, and to facilitate this, I'll up my offer to 10 million for the four guns. If you'll transmit me a list of factions you'd rather me not enter combat with using your weaponry, I'm sure that we can come to a reasonable agreement. If not, well then, we'll pretend this never happened. Alright? For the Revolution, for the Red Dawn, for the Premier! ///////END TRANSMISSION///////

Video link enabled... ![]() Comm ID: Tanja Koenig Guten Tag Herr Brooks, I am Herr Schusters secretary, he told me to deal with this he is a very busy man and can't be bothered with your request at the moment and in the near future. Now about your offer, I think Herr Schuster already told you what we think about the monetary offer you made. Even though the H-Fuel might be tempting, we have enough of it at the moment and we both would want our base exploding because of too much explosive stuff there, right? Well and about the guns, which advantage would we Unioners gain from the LRFs guns, right nothing. And yet another thing, you have a military, and yet you ask us, a small and as I would put it in your eyes unimportant group for their 'powerful' guns? You have to excuse me, but I cant follow this thought at all. I think the overall outcome of this is more or less visible and you have to excuse me, but I can not grant you those guns. You dont need them, nor do you seem able to offer anything of interest to us. Have a nice day. Tanja <3 Transmission lost... ![]() Salud, Comradas! It seems one of our fighter jocks has, indeed, gotten a little ahead of himself, and forgotten his place in the chain of command, ese. It is not our custom to allow such... lapses in diplomatic protocol. It seems in his hurry to make a request, he has forced the Coalition's hand when it comes to the Unioners. Something that is a bit regrettable as we had hoped to finish a gift for your war effort, holmes. It seems, then, that I have the pleasure of stating that the Coalition engineers, already working with the Red Hessians to perfect a new line of Combat ready fighters, have reached a position where we can supply our allies with weaponry and ships. As you know, hermanos, our guns are non-compatible with vessels not specifically designed for them. They have this error with the ADMIN regulators, and it causes the weapons to spontaneously vapourize... not pretty, especially when you are about to enter combat, as you know holmes. Reliable guns, are important. Si, anyway, the Coalition factories are standing ready to process your custom designs of star fighters, we will fulfill any order you place. Perhaps this effort to show how strong we are as Hermanos, ese, will alleviate any worry you have of how important the Unioners are to the Coalition allies? We fight side by side in this war, ese, never forget that we consider you blood brothers. To our victory, mi comradas! For the Revolucion, for Katz! Alvarez out! El Coyote ---Communications Terminated-- To the Unioners - Wuselkobold - 12-07-2010 <<<incoming transmission>>> <<<establishing visual communications>>> ![]() Dear Herr Alvarez, I already assumed that Herr Brooks was acting on his own accord, which is the reason we are still talking to each other. To be perfectly honest, we've had quiet some difficulties of defining our stance towards the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army, as our goals are quiet different. As I'm sure you know, we Unioners strife to regain the economical and political powers we once held, seeking vengeanceon those who cast us out in the process. Also, most of our members are aiming for personal wealth by any means necessary. I won't denie however, that the forces of the SCRA and the Unioners have fought many a battle against our rivals side by side and that there is indeed mutual benefit to be gained if we cooperate in some areas. We are well aware of the efford the Red Hessian Army is putting into the development of new starships in cooperation with the SCRA, and we are still wondering why the Hessians aren't interested in our expertise in regards of starship engeneering and construction. All these events have caused us to strengthen our own effords in regards of increasing our producing capabilities, and the design of our Arbeiter Mark II fighter is nearly finished as well. We are also quiet satisfied with the weaponry at our disposal, though I'm sure some of my pilots won't turn down one of your fighters if offered one. Our primary goal for now has to be to find a common base we can work on and improve our cooperation, before taking the next step. Maybe then, even if our long-term goals are different, we'll be able to call each other true friends. On a side note, I find it pretty amusing that a member of the communist SCRA tried to bribe us into giving away our technology.
