The recent scouting of Rheinland space revealed some interesting information. I headed to Dresden, where I docked at Vogtland and helped the Hessians out with their Dauman enemies. Then, I headed up to Hudson, where I intended to get the Rogue base there on my navmap. Unfortunately, en route in Hamburg, I was accosted by an RM fighter. We engaged in combat, and I managed to hurt him a lot. Another RM fighter came, and then, by a lucky mine shot on exposed hull, the first one hit the dust.
As I fought the second one, a third of the tenacious fellows came and engaged. Redirecting fire on him, he hit the floor faster than a drunk Corsair in a Malta bar. It was back to 1 on 1 with the second fighter, but the engine started making funny noises; fighting so long had obviously broken something loose or something like that. I withdrew through the nearby Bering jump hole and landed on Pacifica. The Unioners were decidedly neutral at first, but when hearing what I had just done to the RM, they greeted me with open arms. I am currently here, getting repairs done, and should be spaceworthy shortly.

Today a large Corsair force moved on Alpha. They proceeded through Eta, and managed to pass our interdictor force at Palermo with relatively minor losses. Malta's Planetary Defense Grid, still unfinished restocking from the assault two days previous, was withheld from firing. Instead the fleets were dispatched, and a combined operation with the Red Hessian Army, Reaper Squadron and the 66th Fighter Wing ensued. Their slightly superior numbers were, as expected, absolutely no match for the sheer skill of our pilots, and special credit goes to Miguel Marron and his crew on the Browning for their excellent kill of the last two Colonial fighters, callsign Panzer, who, with Bellerophon, decided to involve themselves halfway into the engagement.
The battle commenced in high orbit above Mallorca, where the three Corsair Gunboats were quickly dispatched by volleys from the Alhambra. After destroying one more of their bombers she was forced to pull out due to engine troubles. Shortly afterwards, a bomber, callsign Sunslayer, was destroyed. Its pilot, believed to be the infamous Elder Montoya himself, was tractored and flown back in the hold of the only Titan that survived the fight long enough to run. At this point the odds really started to turn against the Corsair filth, but the Colonial Remnant decided to rear its ugly head, and presented more enemies; unsurprisingly, they both died at the skillful hands of Browning. By the time our forces had finished the Corsairs were left with a scant lone Titan, running for dear life into the Taus with its cargo of tractored Traitor pilots. Outcast losses totaled a single fighter. A suitable payback for that attack several days ago, methinks... Everybody, EXCELLENT job out there. Bonello out.

Senor, I report to you with my humblest apologies an unresolved engagement versus a member of the Colonial Remnant : =CR=Skotos.
I had been patrolling our holdings around Malta and the surrounding systems, Including raids on BMM and IMG facilities in the area, when a trader in Tau 23 alert us to each others presence, I initiated a search pattern, just as I had been recently shown to do (See! Ferdinand is no fool, Ferdinand listens!).
I made contact with the colonial dog near Cali base, and proceeded to engage, unfortunately, woe to poor Ferdinand, it appears the first mine I dropped fell straight into the Path of a fighter moving from Cali to assist. I swear, senor, an honest mistake, but now Ferdinand must stear clear of Cali base for a while.
I am sad to report, that if the engagement had continued, the dog may have had the better of poor Ferdinand, I think an early hit destroyed my stash... it must have been the DT's making me shake so hard, for Ferdinand fears no man, this I swear to you.
Today however, was not the time for Ferdinand to be dieing, no, a brief solar storm gave me the chance I needed, and I immediately cut engines and power, drifting out of the engagement with no signature for the Dog to find me. I have now returned home to Malta, and I am giving what assistance I can to the technicians assigned to repair my poor sabre Senor.
My humblest apologies for my failure to despatch him senor, next time will be different....

Senor Bonello, seeing as how none of my comrades have seen fit to lodge an official report of this engagement, now that some of my strength has returned, I have taken it upon myself to do so.
Approximately three days prior, whilst engaged in BHG suppression sorties around Malta, long range scanners and com channel monitoring began to indicate a build up of Corsair forces.
Fearing an impending assault upon our territories, a small task force composed mainly of members of the Glorious 202nd, ably assisted by the RoS, assembled to launch a pre emptive strike.
It seems we met their task force coming the otherway, realising as we jumped they where in Omicron Eta with us we proceeded to intercept, making contact with the Dogs near Palermo Station.
During the opening stages of the engagement things appeared to be stalemated, I spent this time mostly on the defence as I seemed to be drawing a lot of enemy fire, particularly missile fire, I believe I consumed the vast majority of my countermeasures in the first 5 minutes.
It seems that I succeeded in my attempts to make like the junker in the gold storage... how you say, very dodgy, for after a while fire upon my person diminished to the point that I was able to maintain a much more offensive footing.
After our wing was commanded to switch primary targets, the numbers of our foe where quickly thinned, first by one, and then a second of the dogs fell to my brethren (Alas, my targetting computer was beginning to show signs of what was soon to occur).
It has been suggested that perhaps the corsairs managed to infect my vessels systems with some broadcast computer virus, whatever the cause, in the midst of the engagement I suffered a massive and near total systems failure (ooc : red lag) causing my weapon and engine systems to shut down completely, and leaving me drifting, helpless as a newborn babe.
I manage to stabilise the systems once, but not for long, and when several moments later she shut down on me again I settled in to await my brothers inevitable victory. However, whilst stranded there in the void, incoming vessels reinforcing our treacherous enemies targetted and destroyed my stationary vessel in a single salvo, I barely had time to punch out before my poor Sabre disintigrated around me.
I have not recieved any direct confirmation of the outcome of the engagement, though chatter about the hospital ward I now find myself consigned to indicates it was a victory, I hope the rest of our wing made it through ok.
