As I understand, you are all aware of the dire situation we find ourselves in in the Omega sector. The increasing Hessian activity has cost Rheinland hundreds of million credits in both corporate revenue and taxpayer money, as an addition to the loss of dozens of lives. The Rheinwehr has done several measurements to ease the situation by increasing patrols, arming escort fighters, contacting the IMG and so on, but the threat seems rather constant, being exceptionally dangerous due to their sporadic guerrilla attacks.
We are aware that the Bundespolizei is chiefly responsible for the security of the internal systems, but since a large amount of our mining operations are located in Omega-7 and Omega-11, we have an equal amount of Rheinland citizens and establishments to supervise. Since the Rheinwehr is more and more tied down with the Liberty front, we cannot pay constant and efficient attention to the sector, so we request your help.
Currently the Oberkommando is working out the concept of a "Grenzschutz" Border Guard division, which would be a joint endeavor between the Rheinwehr and the Polizei to protect our Omega interests, but it may take time to be set up efficiently.
Until we propose something exact, could you please include the Omega systems, Omega-11 and Omega-7 into your standard patrol routine? It would be a huge relief for our forces that are chiefly tied down with the Liberty war.

I definetely understand your concern about the events in Omega-7 occured in the last month with the complex situation in relations with Independent Miners Guild subsidiaries that in violation of the existing agreements used the military power against Rheinland corporations; as well as I understand how such a change affected Rheinwehr operations in Omegas against revolutionary groups.
Currently we are dealing with the increased frequency of attacks on facilities in New Berlin and Frankfurt and cutting down the smuggling routes via Stuttgart system. In this situation the regular Bundespolizei forced are tied to their regular duties and requesting additional forces from Frankfurt or New Berlin departments will be an issue affecting our effectiviency in the aforesaid areas.
In that case we decided to temporary reassign Sondereinsatzkommando areas of operation and concentrate their duties on Stuttgart and Omegas to assist in Rheinwehr patrols and counter-terrorist operations. All the regular Bundespolizei units will be also ordered to enter the area on request of corporative security departments or Rheinwehr officers or during routine patrols.
Finally, I would like to discuss the concept of "Grenzschutz" with you in person.

The Rheinwehr applauds for your decision; your presence in the Omegas will be a huge relief to both our forces and the corporate assets therein. I have allocated extra supplies to the Strausberg solely for your disposal, if you wish to use the battleship as a station to base your operations from, I can arrange all the needed facilities which the SEK may require.
If you request, we can give your personnel a briefing on the Omegas, that is unless they had one already. Despite that, nothing but first hand experience can portray properly what awaits you there and I would lie if I said it was anything pleasant.
Regardless, our tightened cooperation in the region will help assure the safety which our citizens require, Rheinland will benefit from your help and we appreciate all the work which you will invest in the future. Hopefully I too, can shift more attention to the Hamburg region once this crisis is eliminated.
