Mr. Sisco,

I would indeed like to meet you to clarify the details of this. I understand the wish for privacy, but my first duty is to the Guild and it's members. Until I can be positive your past would not become a problem in the Guild's future, I must hold off a decision regarding your membership.

Where and when would you like to meet? I am told convoys are quite frequent these days, so it shouldn't be difficult to find transportation.

Regards,
- Johnathan Sanders, on behalf of the IMG.

Mr. Sisco,

Belay my last transmission. After having received a communication from captain Bonnie of the Sea of Silence 2, I can safely say your chances of joining with us have dropped to zero. People who are rude, and borderline insultive to guild members who are doing their best to answer your inquiry, are people we do not need.

Good luck on your ventures elsewhere, but you will not be flying with us.

Regards,
- Johnathan Sanders, on behalf of the IMG.

Bio:
I was born on Planet Los Angeles. After I passed the school leaving exam, my parents hired a pilot for me to learn fly. He had a little Startracker. After the first lesson, he told me: "You have borned for the big ships".
I passed the exam of Transport Flight, and I started earn money (as a docker in Planet Los Angeles) for my own ship. When I finally have 55.000 credit, I bought a little Rhino. My businesses began. I travelled a lot across the Sirius system for the best payment. My amount of money grew every day, I changed the ships, and finally I bought a really huge Stork.

Two of my pals and me carried gold ore from Dublin to New York, when we met with two IMG gunboat. They safely escorted us to Detroit Munitions. Then I reallyized, It's time to join something bigger. I also rellized that the IMG is a well organized and kind faction.

So, I am standig here, and waiting for your reply,

With all due respect

Nick Harrison

---Subject: Job application---

Greetings,

My name Alice Etherington. I was born on Planet Manhattan 28 years ago. I have a brother, and no parents. My dad used to be a Navy pilot and my mum worked in Ageira transporting gate/lane parts to other parts of Sirius. Me and my brother were twins so we always did things together. Same with flying lessons - we always loved space and we wanted to become like our dad so we often went on the flying lessons.
But one day things have changed. Our dad loaned money from some people and he refused to pay the loan back so they burned our house and killed our dad. It was horrible. At that time my mum was away in Kusari and we send the message to her. She was horrified.
All our money, our life savings, were in that house and then it was all gone. She told us to get to Kusari and that she will see what to do next.
When we came she was glad to see us alive. She found us a job of transporting some easy cargo inside Kusari while she was doing the more serious runs. One day she got ambushed by bunch of Outcasts. They killed her and stole her ship. Me and my brothers agreed that we will revenge the death of our mother. But we didn't knew how. Then we saw the message that IMG is recruiting and we said that it's a perfect chance to learn something new and make a lot of money with the stork we had left.
I think the Independent Miners Guild is an organisation that helps mankind - balancing the needs of its employees, and the market demand. Many of the resources IMG mines and hauls around Sirius is very much needed in almost every industrial sector.
I bring to the guild my determination, loyalty and willingness to help in any way I can.
I want to join the Guild because I see my role inside it. I would apply for the Traders division and I would also make a fighter for the Defense division.

That would be it, I'm looking forward to your reply,
Regards from
Alice Etherington

Independent Miners Guild Recruitment channel (iRP) - Sturam - 01-29-2011

***Incoming Transmission***
From: Sturam

Subject: Joining IMG

I wish to become a Defense Pilot

1. Most of the work in the past has been mining silver ore in Rhineland. I also explored Sirius for some time too with the money I made from the ore. I also traded on a route that passed back and forth between kusari and liberty. Legal cargo of course.

2. I believe IMG exists as a faction for people who wish to be free from corrupt main houses and insane pirates. It exists as a body which survives in the dangerous boundries of space with the hard work of the individuals who make up IMG, the miners who search for ores and make credits, the explorers who find said ores, the defense pilots who protect the other members (mostly from pirates but also any other external threat) and the traders who ship the ore. It is an extensive system of different people from all over Sirius working together to survive.

3. I can wear the role of defensive pilot quite well, I have been using many different types of ships (gunboats being my ideal choice) but at the moment I pilot in a civilian Raven. I am loyal and will help any other player upon request or in circumstance of danger.

4. I believe the IMG faction is a prime example the other houses in Sirius need to follow. (Maybe not the mining part though, then there would be too much competition) but it's protection of man, freedom from corruption and from what I have seen on my travels, efficient teamwork.

Gentlemen and women,

Let me welcome you to the Guild. Your applications are all in order.

Mr. Harrison,
I've had reports about your transport joining several of our convoys, and these went largely without incident. But just to clarify, you are applying solely for the role of transportation? It is not a problem if you do so, but keep in mind that in times of combat situations that could mean you will be forced to remain at a friendly port until the situation is resolved. Most pilots also choose to have a fightercraft on standby for these times.

Miss Etherington,
Life does not seem to have smiled much on you. I hope your time in the Guild will be kinder on you then your past has been. It is true that the Guild is in frequent conflict with the Outcasts, although I'm sad to say, they seem to be tolerated in Bretonia these days. We're still in flux on how to treat their presence there, considering they seem to fly side by side with the Armed Forces. But in the upper Tau systems, every Outcast we see is a hostile one by default. They have hounded us as long as we have reports of contact with them there. Vengeance is an uncommon motive to join the Independent Miners Guild, though. I advise caution.
Should you feel to wish to take stronger offensive action against the Outcasts, I can put you in contact with the fighters of the Colonial Republic. The Colonials are more agressive in their dealings with the Outcasts then the Guild is, and are always on the lookout for fighters wishing to join that cause. They can provide you with training and guidance to become an effective fighter pilot.
Incidentally, does your brother also wish to sign on with us?

Mr. Sturam,
I see you are eager to join the guild as a heavy support escort, in I presume a Hydra class vessel. Your ideas of the Guild are largely correct, but I will need to caution you. Combat performance data from a large number of engagements suggest that the Hydra class gunboat is, like most gunboat class vessels, ineffective in mass-engagements. The gunboat is simply too big a target, and focused fire will force it's disengagement from battles involving more then four enemy fightercraft. It's chief role is escort and guard duty, not offensive action - it's more then capable to quickly put an end to assault transports and lone bombers. If you intend to participate in large-scale battles, a Nyx class fighter would be more effective.
Also, be aware that as a light capital vessel, the Hydra signifies strong guild visibility. Be aware of this when dealing with neutral and friendly parties, we prefer to avoid any incidents. Big guns does not equal power over others. That said, if you can secure the resources, the Hydra is open for all guild members to use. I recommend hardening it with armor prior to entering active service, consisting of at least capital class 4.

To signify your vessels as Guild ships, please apply the IMG| transponder to your vessel's name. The division suffix ([M] for mining, [E] for exploration, [D] for defense and [T] for trade) is optional - keep in mind that the [M] and [T] tags tend to attract unwanted attention if you intend to operate alone. I recommend you read our latest operational report to familiarise yourself with our current politics, and the state of our operations Sirius-wide.
Good luck in your ventures in the Guild.
The Guild would also appreciate it if you, once you have brought your ships under Guild transponder, register them in the roster, so we know who's who.

Signed,
- Johnathan Sanders, on behalf of the Independant Miners Guild.

Regarding this application I want to stress a few aspects:

I, Jack Henderson, have flown many convoy missions with the pilot of the Hegemon Lexington and he was a very disciplined pilot even in difficult situations. He has what it takes to work in a difficult part of Sirius like Dublin.

Inside the Hydra Cassin Young he fought bravely in the huge engagement when BAF and IMG forces were pinned down by two Corsair battleships and 15 small craft. He managed to take out a fighter craft and to land the finishing hits on a battleship.

Cassin Young volunteered to record footage of the combat mentioned above while in the midst of combat.

He proved to me to be a capable miner and a good Defence Wing pilot. So I strongly suggest you to accept his application.

Jack Henderson

Gentlemen,

Let me welcome you to the Guild. Your applications are all in order.

Mr. Sheridan, a glowing recommendation from one of our Dublin defense folk, I believe that's a first. I'll have to admit reading your initial application I was a little cautious. We do not get many naval capital ship officers to apply for the Guild - simply because our capital fleet is rather small. But given mr. Henderson's recommendation, I see no reason to turn you down.
I read you are interested in exploration, yet the recommendation comes from the defensive wing, suggesting you primarily work with them. Regardless, exploration or defense, is your choice to make.

Mr. Carlyle, born in space I see? Not too many people can claim to be born in a system without a planet. I imagine your time in the bounty hunters will have given you ample training in piloting fightercraft. If you have any contacts left among them, don't hesitate to put them to work for the Guild. It's always welcome to the Guild to have some reliable escorts for hire.
The only minor concern I have is the BHG itself. I trust you did not join them under their amnesty clause?
