This is the Bounty Hunter Salem Adhery speaking and I am damn pissed!

Today has been the SECOND time that inbred family of Indians invaded Dublin. They taxed miners and harassed pretty much everyone. Because at first, there were only two of them and because I wanted to help the miners, I engaged. Now, there was ONE of your ships around: A Solaris equipped Destoryer named the HMS-Revenge. The presence of Indians was well known throughout the system and the Destroyer was not far away. Instead of helping me and the miners he babbled with some idiodic civillian. After I sent a system-wide distress call, while being swarmed by their whole Indian family line, the Destroyer moored with the Essex and the Captain was gone doing whatever.
Luckily my pod was saved, but that shame of a soldier, who commandeers a Destroyer, just ticks me off. He was babbling the whole time, but he did ZERO work.
I know not everyone in the Armed Forces is like that and I have good ties to one of your Ensigns. I just wanted to release some Steam and to inform you about what pansies commandeer your fine ships sometimes.

Sir

Your zeal in defending Bretonia's interests in Dublin is appreciated.

As you know, our forces are needed in Leeds, where we are fighting a major war with Kusari, in defense of our home.

The Regular forces, also known as the Primary Fleet, are often too busy to respond to the needs of security in every system.

In this case, a Secondary Fleet Vessel, the HMS-Revenge, was in Dublin, as I understand, but did not deploy that destroyer against a swarm of fighters?

You may not know that the Secondary Fleet is under explicit instructions to not risk valuable capital ships (and the incredible amount of fuel they consume) against enemy or criminal fighters and bombers.

The appropriate course of action would be to deploy a squadron of Templars to destroy the Indians, which I characterise as an insignificant swarm of gnats nibbling away at Bretonia's bottom.

If the fleet cannot spare a squadron of Templars at that exact moment in time, sending a destroyer to certain death is hardly a next best option in any case.

When the manor is on fire, one will not save the barn. A point of view undoubtedly not shared by horses, but a defendable one, you can likely agree.

Regards, Fleet Admiral Ralston.
