Obstinate, Gallic Cruiser - Toaster - 01-26-2011
Alright... thanks for everyone who answered to my last thread 'bout the KuDessie. It kinda dissappointed me though. So, now I am thinking about getting myself an Obstinate. I mean, it looks awesome and seems to be pretty strong. But yeah, looks aint everyone, so I'd like to know what experiences you people have made with it.

Its mainly very big (http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/8050/cruiserq.jpg). It works for its job in Gallia though, but you have to watch out for the bomber swarms

It's got a huge ass.
Like, a huge, huge ass.
The kinda ass that fills your entire screen.
But otherwise it's got a certain charm to it.
I used to have a Gallic Princess Catgirl in one, primarily to troll Dab and the GRN.
But it was fun.

We've got two in the GRP| and I enjoy flying them, although they do present huge targets. As far as aesthetics go, it's a good looking ship at every angle except the rear. I like me a nice behind like any other guy, but this thing is borderline obscene. Day-um
I generally don't spend too much time on it unless we've got a couple other people in the air, though. Unless you've got some strong RP and know there's going to be people in Gallia, you're not going to use it much unless you like running NPC missions. Everything is better with an exaggerated French accent, though.

I've got the council Obstinate, i tried some DS before and i really think the obstinate is one of the best ones.
Excellent armor, it is big ok, but not flat as a storta for example and so not that easy to reach.
It has an excellent manoeuvrability, you can sometimes think you're on a huge gunboat when thrusting and then Shooting Engine Kills.
Good powercore too with good regen rate.
To me, the biggest problem with the Obstinate is the way turrets are placed. Some slots allowing 180 degree shooting seem ideal for angle of strikes but once in situation make targeting really tough.
Anyway, if you want a Destroyer, this one is excellent!:)
