Ohai. Again.

Anyway... so, this time I'm considering getting a LSC... mainly for RP, not for PvP. So, since I must say that it doesnt look to great... and from what I have heard the forward gun is useless... what do you people have to say about it?

Well...I say buy it , it is worth it ! Also I don't know who told you that the forward gun is useless but this is not true. The forward cannon can be used against bigger capital ships while you stay at a safe range.

The LSC is a very good cruiser, I don't know who told you otherwise. The forward gun is massively powerful, although it can be a bit troublesome to use, I suggest using Cockpit mode to aim it, just line the reticle up in the center of your screen. For times when you can't use the forward effectively (Gunboats/Faster cruisers) I suggest mounting a LM. Other than that, possibly a pulse or a BR, and the rest guns for damage.

The LSC really shines in Cruiser v Battleship combat, where the forward is easy to hit with and has a 4k range. You can easily keep out of a battleships reach by using both cruise and thruster, and just pelt it with your forward from afar.

So, here's a little extra helpful thing.

Hull 8/10, 295k is a good amount for a cruiser.

Manuevering 9/10, turns a 360 in around 14.9 seconds.

Profile 9/10, It's very narrow so you can strafe dodge oncoming fire easily

Firepower 7/10, The forward gun makes up for the lack of guns, but you have to know how to use it, I suggest target practice with it to get good at using it.

Overall 8.5/10, It's definitely one of the better cruisers out there in my opinion, but not the best. In the hands of a good pilot any ship is deadly, but the Liberty Siege cruiser has the power to harm battleships alone, and with a tag team with another or two can easily take out a battleship. It stands a fair fight vs any other cruiser, since it's manueverable and sleek.

Looks like a dildo, and turns ultra fast for being a cruiser. Forward Gun is awesome if you learn how to fire it. Prolly the best cruiser out there, at it's intended purpose, namely to rape caps. If you want it for RP, rather than PvP, I wouldn't get this one, I'd get the Reseph

Oh yeah... the Resheph is sexy as hell. But meh, A) (as far as I know) since it is an Order cruiser, there wont be many people to RP with B) Liberty is consta-full
