My Harddrive had a mechanical failure and i have lost everything... i have only just recently managed to get my pc up and running... is there a chance that i can have my old account linked to my new installment of Freelancer?
i'm busy at the moment downloading the MOD now...

If you have used a tool like FLAM or Discovery Launchpad, you could have saved your account ID. The admins might be able to recover it. Use Discovery Launchpad to import the account data if they are willing to help.

ummm... somewhere around the end of December i would say.. no exact date tho sorry:( it would have been LNS-Voidrunner... cos i remember patrolling with a few others around that time... hope it helps somehow....

Well, I have to tell you that your chars are lost forever/gone for good. Since I think that u dont have a backup. Note that all account datd is stored in Cilent, NOT Serve (to provide better security) so I dont think Admins can help. =(
PS: Ive just experienced the same thing but Im lucky to have an old FAM backup (lost 7 mil and a Code)

if you lose your account data your characters can be restored by putting movechar codes on them, which the admins can do.
but, since you said you logged on them last time in december, they have probably been deleted because of inactivity. so no, dont think you will get them back.
