We have fought alongside each-other within Tau-23, 37 and even on the doorstep of Alpha, we have had victories, we have had losses, but there is one thing that links us more-so than such things, our hate for the Outcast Nation.
Thus the Coalition is willing to open up both Trade and a Military Alliance with the Colonial Republic, should you be so keen to talk about this I request permission to meet with a representative at a place of your choosing.

I am Iana Ujan, Head Diplomat for the Office of Foreign Affairs.
My apologies for the delay in our reply.
Our President and his advisers have been discussing your proposal.
They feel that there are several factors to consider and have some questions for you and your leaders.
We feel these would be best answered before we meet your representatives in person - such a meeting is dangerous and in these times we cannot even trust the safety of the void.
We understand that the Coalition has recently encountered issues with the Order.
Our interactions with the Order are minimal and as such our relations are not very strong, in any direction.
However such issues could lead to future problems for the Coalition and thus the Republic.
If you could shed some light on the situation we would be very grateful.
The Bounty Hunters Guild.
As I understand it, the guild Core and yourselves have recently come to some accord regarding a cease-fire of sorts.
The Guild were once potentially our enemies and are still unable to claim on our Bounty boards.
They have petitioned for this to be changed however.
Any information you could provide as to your relations with the Guild, and the Core, would be of great help to us in our discussions.
Finally, trade.
Tau-44 is a bountiful system, with many ores buried deep in the resident planets.
We mainly use such ores to assist in construction.
From what I know though, we are lucky.
The terrible tragedy that was the loss of Jiangxi is something that we fear every day.
The purpetrators of such an act can never be forgiven for what they have done.
However we are not merely dwelling on the differences of our past.
The Republic has skilled engineers and our relations with the IMG allow us access to some of the greatest minds in industry.
Such knowledge, and our ores, could be of use to the Coalition.
We would be happy to see an exchange of both goods and knowledge between our peoples.
To benefit Jingxi, the Republic and the Coalition.
Your, and your leader's, thoughts on this matter are of importance to us.
We have learnt from our past to not act rashly when it comes to alliances and to consider that some friends are not friends at all.
Answering these three requests will allow our leaders to swiftly end their discussions and push forward, whichever way these talks take us.
I understand this may be a lot to ask in our initial messages but considering the gravity of your proposal we do not wish to misunderstand anything.

"Do not worry, it is perfectly understandable that it would take so long, there is a war going on between you and the Outcasts after all and you want to be sure of our intentions.
I shall answer your questions to the best of my ability, our previous friendship with the Order was cut short in no short part to them betraying us after we handed over several dangerous artifacts in the hopes they would be better able to combat the Nomad threat which seems to be involved with the Outcasts since our forces have spotted 'Morphs' in Outcast space during raids up their forces. After we handed over the artifacts mere days later they informed us our Alliance was terminated, from our knowledge it appears that once they had what they wanted from us they decided they nolonger needed our aid against the nomad threat.
Which brings us to the BHG, infuriated at being cast aside by the so-called 'saviors of humanity', we came to an agreement with the Bounty Hunter's Guild, we would help them against the Order and they would not shoot at us as we do it beyond that nothing else thus far, our policy on the Order is containment at this time so they would be able to focus on the real threat to humanity, the Aliens, however it is hard considering the Order seems to have forgotten it's proper role.
My people have never forgotten the tragedy of JiangXi, my own home is on it's damaged surface, the process of restoring her back to her old self is a long and harsh process, but we continue because we have hope for a brighter future for the next generation should we succeed. The exchange of Knowledge and Resources would go a long way to speeding her recovery, such exchanges would thus not be out of the question for my people.
I hope this has answered many if not all of your questions, I hope that the Colonial Government continues to be a beacon of hope against the outcast scourge that plagues Sirius.
