Hypothetical Scenario #God knows - Fletcher - 02-21-2011 We've all likely in one way or another thought "Are the Gallic affected by Nomads in any way?". Current lore from the penguin of sadism that is Igiss says, no or rather they appear to be very curious about Nomad Artifacts. But what if they were indeed affected by Nomads? Would the Order attempt to punch into the Gallic stronghold? Attempt espionage? Call on the fallen Trent? Would evidence of their 'infection' force an armistice between Liberty and Rheinland to avert a possible 2nd Nomad Wars? Are Nomads active in Gallic space? As in in fleets? Discuss. Hypothetical Scenario #God knows - Akura - 02-21-2011 It's Gallic. Not Gallian. And no, the Nomads have no interest in Gallia, and no Gallic forces are infected, controlled or working for the Nomads. Hypothetical Scenario #God knows - Fletcher - 02-21-2011 Edited, and this is a What If scenario, hence hypothetical Hypothetical Scenario #God knows - Akura - 02-21-2011 Then this would be a stupid mod that's not worth playing. It would be a totally random and stupid plot pusher. And you're not on Skype :/ Hypothetical Scenario #God knows - Agmen of Eladesor - 02-21-2011 That possibility was one reason the BHG|Core was interested in finding out what was going on with the Gallians. (Yes, I spelled it that way just to irritate you. :P) The whole point is - as far as our characters are concerned - we just don't know. Don't know means just that - they might be, they might not be, there's just not enough data to say conclusively one way or the other. So the only way we as residents of Sirius are going to find out is to interact with them. Right now the Gallians (did it again!) are closed off, very tight lipped about things, and they've locked down several of their systems so that we can't see what's back there. Is what we see now simply a public facade? It's only paranoia if there's really no one out to get you. Here in Sirius we've already seen the Nomads take over more than one human government. We just don't know enough to know for certain that this hasn't happened in Gallia. For all we know, there could be ANOTHER set of aliens running things there. Heh! you haven't seen my infected Agama yet. j/k In actuality it is plausible but I don't think it's gonna be like that in any way heheh. The Nomads are the keepers of Sirius, created to maintain this sectar. Gallia isn't in Sirius and currently the Nomads are still busy with the humans already in Sirius. |
