Make 2 accounts... F1 account A in space... log in account B quickly. As long as B is in the same place as A.. you see your first ship for a few seconds before it disconnects.

not really. if you want to be sure you have the outcast iff, you will have to open your rep sheet and make sure the desired iff is blinking yellow

This won't work. F1'ing in space causes a temporary delay (1 minute(?)) on your account to be activated, in which time nobody is able to log onto this account and your ship stays still in space for this amount of time. So by the time the delayed has passed and you log into another character your original F1'd character will be long gone.

Cabulb you are wrong and right at the same time. The FL hook dont allow you to join 1 min from the same account but allows you to join from the second one. I do it too when I need to change guns and stuff between my ships.The second ship shoot the first one till he drops the cargo. A bit OORP way but if nobody is around and I am in a hurry it works.
