Is there anyone who use Light fighter as a primary ship?
Id like to know some of your advices about this ship class.

Light fighters belong to a special class of ships. Their primary function is not combat, which explains why they don't have the firepower and armour to take on other fighters. People fly them for scouting and recon which they do well. They also have good survivability due to their agility.
My advice is try not to get into fights with light fighters unless you know your enemies will eventually get bored at shooting you. They're a little better in group fights.

Hmm, 600 m/s gunned ship is not a problem, i can dodge as long as i want, and you know, annoyance and boring is a good weapon.
Also as i am a molly, i found new game-find destroyer patrol near Essex and try to pass through its ring while it is trying to kill you. Alot of fun:D

libby is decent in combat
1 important thing you need to know is how to drop mines.
best combo imo is nukes with mosq 2 debs 2 hull guns.
but thats my experience.
Lots of people got cooked up by the tiny thing.

Also, they excel in groups. Becouse most of the time one on one you'll have problems with opponents shields. Still have libby with 4x magmas >.>

well yeah LF in group fights are really annoying to fly.
but in a 1 on 1 mines are you primary damage weapon.
I group fights make sure you out turn your enemy and pew em when hes EK or turning.
Patience is also a factor with LF's

I use an SCRA Loki as my secondary ship.
I have one pulse gun, three hulls, a screamer mine and a Mini Razor.
The Loki is one of the few LF's out there which can hold it's own against heavier opponents. Plus it makes the person you are fighting mad as you jump about the screen and annoy them intently!

LFs are amazing in group fights, so I recommend screamer mines. If you can keep their shields down, they the VHFs on your team can pound them to dust.
Don't use nukes. Nukes + libby = insta-kill
Use the thrust a lot, spam CDs

I fly a Wyrm, a Scimitar, a Hyena, a Griffin, and of course, a Starblazer.
So yes. I do fly LFs.

Never nuked myself in adleast 20 fights.
So when you know when to use nukes.
Which is only when your shield is up or when your enemy can't get to you.
nukes made about 60% of all my kills in my LF.
Just saying.
