I found myself facing a BB and GB and activated cruise and headed to my reinforcemants, BHG BB
When i met with him Cors BB stoped pursuit and runned, then he said i was dead and i must leave...
Is it a PvP death, when u lure someone into a trap with cruise engines?

Tic it was sorted out that was my bad your not dead since i pursuited and nor am I
besides the crash reset us so lets do it again!
However according to the people in Voice Comm if I didnt shoot you in pursuit you would have been dead.

He shoot me but he did not kill me, just damaged shields a bit.
EDIT: im not flaming u Adler just wanna know for future fights...

As long as you just ran and didn't engage him, then it's not re-engaging and doesn't count as a PvP death, and you're fine.:)

when i shot each other ( when you met the BB and GB ) and cruised to your reinforcement, you were retreating.
if you were not shooting the BB and GB but only turned and ran to your reinforcement, there was no engagement and so you were not retreating.
i am still not happy with the retreat rules - ( that its allmost counted as a death ) but its all about if you shot or not.

I did shot before server crashed but then it was 2GBs against Adler, but when server restarted i emediatly ran because Tinky also camed and destroyed other BHG GB and then i knew i cant survive that...
EDIT: I didnt shoot that time just started cruising to BHG BS

for an engagement - a server restart is to be ignored, i think. from a rules / characters point of view - a servercrash has not happened. - so if you shot before the crash - it was indeed retreat and it would have counted as such.
( if a server restart would reset all engagements - it would mean that i can attack alpha after the crash again, even if i was currently on the run from RoS before the crash [just happened])
