Just another mining mod thread - Sturmwind - 03-04-2011 We all know how the mining mod got switched off and all miners disappeared, previously populated areas such as Omega-7 and 11 are now deserted. This is a change that obviously has a feedback on role play events, so how can it be explained in role play? For example, if a wingman of mine notes how mining area X is deserted as opposed to the crowed state it enjoyed previously, what is my character to reply as an explanation? I'd like to hear some thoughts. Just another mining mod thread - VoluptaBox - 03-04-2011 Dunno...we mined everything out? :3 Just another mining mod thread - SA_Scavenger - 03-04-2011 Simple, the RM must start trading. We must all adapt, adapt and become traders. All of us! Just another mining mod thread - Vito - 03-04-2011 Omega 11: the red giant's radiations increased and/or the Hessians are getting the upper hand and Daumann is reducing the operations there. O11 was empty anyway. Omega 7: it got mined out? I can't think of anything better If Daumann get's the Munich field DHC will move most of the operations there so the O11 options can be used for that too Just another mining mod thread - Jeremy Hunter - 03-04-2011 Ore is contaminated, automatic systems in your ship already know and auto-destroy contaminated ore. Just another mining mod thread - sadtranslation - 03-04-2011 Gaians celebrate, I suppose. Well, since we all expect the mining mod we're so used to to be back soon, I see people roleplaying it as a temporary breakup of operations for random reasons. Sabotage works perfectly here, as well as a collapse of mining industry due to some war-related issues. I think that mining factions have a much better idea. Just another mining mod thread - sean24 - 03-04-2011 Demand for Gold has decreased since the <strike>USD</strike> Sirius Credit has gone up dramatically. (yay economics class) Just another mining mod thread - sadtranslation - 03-04-2011 No, just Gaians put BMM on their knees. BMM can't mine on knees. The mystery is suddenly resolved. (sun) Just another mining mod thread - SA_Scavenger - 03-04-2011 All of Sirius inhabitants suffered from a major set back in intelligence. Therefore they were not able to mine anymore. They could only push the forward button to go from one place to the next with commodities whose prices never changed. Pirates rejoiced thinking people were going to pay them, however, they quickly found out that the set back in intelligence greatly reduced the chances of proper RP and quickly lead to traders F1ing out of fights and running away excessively. This lead the admins in the sky to increase sanction reports which lead to the re institution of the mining mod. And everyone was happy once more, except for pirates, as they are never happy.
