"invalid parameter" whatever i want to open - Anonymous User - 03-21-2011

a few hours now i try to fix my computer.

after adobe and java updated and the pc restarted 99% of my stuf did not work anymore.

if i try to start anything I mostly get the same error message:

Quote:>insert file path here<

wrong parameter

nothing more.

found several ways to fix that in the net but they all work via CMD.exe

the cmd.exe does not start as well on the pc...

anyone have a idea?

notice:

I wont be ingame/skype/forums(except for checking this thread) till i've fixd' this.

What OS, Antivirus, firewall do you use? Try deactivating the windows/software firewall aswell as the antivirus program you use (try deleting the anti-virus program)
Is the CPU overclocked? If so, turn it back to normal.
The RAM? If so, turn it back to normal.
Did you try to manually delete adobe/java?
Does the message occur on ANY kind of program you use?
Did you try to download a program and use that one?

(The last one is a dumb question I know, but helped me once, after going totally mad with that error)
Did you try to restart the PC/reset the Bios (by removing the mainboard's battery) ?

taskmanager, this standart windows picture preview thingy and Freelancer account manager.
everything else... no

Did you try to download a program and use that one?
