Another random concept - Turkish - 03-24-2011
I haven't modelled anything in a substantial amount of time now so this feels good, I'm liking the flow of it so far. The concept is a city ship styled after a 13th century Chinese junk. I found a diagram of one on Wiki earlier today and loved the curves so I decided to adapt it. Still a very preliminary design at this stage too.
Not a submission and with no intention of being one, this is for my own pleasure and enjoyment.

Thanks for the replies guys, you made a few good points about the shape so I've added the reference image that inspired me. Hopefully that'll give a better idea of the overall design of the junk.

Been playing with it some more, I'm not sure I like the pagoda apartments near the prow though.
