multiple computer account recovery - khorney - 04-02-2011

Hi guys,

i'm currently on my laptop, and not on my main computer. i had planned to continue playing online, but it tells me i haven't visited the disco server even though i'm using the same account (ie. using FAM, export from main computer, import here). on the other hand, my vanilla servers i played on *do* have me registered as being played on.

the character of the account i'm using is [OMG]Khorney

i can supply account ID and signature numbers if necessary - but i assume you would need to tell me which ones to use and i would key those into FAM

thanks!

This means the server does not recognise your account code hash. So you can't see your characters when you connect?

i haven't connected to the server yet as not to mess things up by potentially overwriting with my wierd hash that i have now.

in the server browser, it says i haven't visited. i would have put this down to an issue my end, but the other 2 servers i have visited have 'yes' under visited

i suppose what i'm asking is there anyway to check what i have on my computer vs whats on the server and correct mine as necessary

well, this seemed to resolve itself, seems like my characters are saved.

apologies for wasting anyone's time, lock if you wish

Do you mean the LAN list where you log on? If so that is stored on the registry of the pc you are using so it does not get copied over when you transfer the accounts.
