at first you should think which kind of RP you want to haz.
Keepers and phantoms are possibly fun.
but you wont get in by saying "hey dudes i like your RP... here I am"
all invite only factions are a bad choose as first official faction.
good lawfull factions to start:
Zoner, Police/Military, Trader/miner factions
unlawfull:
rogues/mollys are not that hard to RP for example.
whatever.
its always good to play along as indie for a month or so first.
so ya see if the factions RP is good enuf for you.

Just check out the faction status thread, am sure there's a faction that's to you're liking. Take it from me, most of us here (me included) are bias towards the faction we are in. :laugh:

I suggest joining Old Guard (Molly) or Interspace Commerce (duh?). Probably the best factions in the DiscoveryGC.
