Richard Solaris Storm was born in space. His Mother Susan gave birth on the trip between New London and their new home on Planet Baden Baden. His Father had bought a house, more like a mansion, overlooking the Southern Ocean. Richard remembered fondly looking out over the black sand beaches, on until the horizon met the blue sea.
His childhood was filled with every thing that he wanted, yet he saw little of his Father. Who off course was Tobias Storm owner of several large Casinos, here on Baden Baden and in the Bretonia Systems. He was not just rich but very rich. What Richard did not know was the behind his Fathers wealth was more sinister people. The Mollys using there gold to set up the Casinos used Richards Father to turn that gold into legitimate credits, helping to fund the violent activities in Bretonia.
At fifteen Richard was given his first ship a Series X Dagger light fighter, his Mother disapproved but his Father had insisted. What surprised every one was that he seemed naturally gifted in space, his trainers all said they had never seen anyone learn so quickly. His father was proud and his Mother a little less worried.
But his idyllic life was to change. His father was cheating the Mollys, skimming more and more credits, the inevitable happened they found out.
His Father and Mother were murdered their ship destroyed completely, only cold debris left floating in space.
Richards life changed overnight, his parents dead and his fathers asset's seized he had nothing, only his little ship.
So bitter, angry and penniless he took to the dark heavens to make his name and his fortune, and perhaps one day his vengeance. For no matter what job he does he kills Mollys on sight.
His career has been haphazard, a Bounty Hunter, a Pirate, a Miner, but mostly a Trader. Using his charm and wits to gain good profits and ships for himself, he made a fair living. It was during his Trading period that he noticed something, how the major houses and their security forces looked down on the small solitary trader. Not aiding their calls for help, not giving escorts, not doing too much at all, except wallowing in their own elitism.
Richard had an awakening, to become the protector of law wherever he was, in whatever system he was. To this end he acquired a gunship and began a new organization the Independent Military Authority, the IMA.
The IMAs charter is simple uphold regional law, protect the innocent, and punish the guilty. As yet Richard Solaris Storm is the only member, the IMA his dream that could become a reality, and a nightmare for the Criminals.
The IMAs Captain Stormblade is known for his ruthless behaviour, zero tolerance towards all criminals, and a tenacity unlike any in the House Armed Force's, he has been known to chase Xenos through several Systems, and he will shoot on sight any Mollys. But he will protect the smallest ship, the lowliest Trader against all odds, even unto destruction.
If The IMA becomes successful it will give all of the Sirius Criminals pause for thought.
