n00b question - casero - 04-26-2011

Dock-Killing is when someone kill you while docking or undocking? I kinda have a blank on my memory right now.

Could someone tell me?

n00b question - EisenSeele - 04-26-2011

Undocking, not that it matters anymore

n00b question - Enoch - 04-26-2011

Dock-killing is now obsolete. It's not forbidden anymore.

You can kill someone while he docks, though during the cinematic he's invulnerable.

Same when he undocks.

n00b question - Daedric - 04-26-2011

There is no such thing anymore.

n00b question - Korny - 04-26-2011

Doesn't matter. There's a ridiculous dock-protection now anyway.

There you have your magical undock-barrier for 92318490148 years that protects you from everything.

Sounds like someone was denied a blue message because they failed at their role.

Sounds like an unneeded game mechanic that goes into the way of gameplay (or CDs, rather).

Nah, that's not it. It was abused by someone who wanted to get out of an unconvenient roleplay situation. Getting away without consequences.

Ok, thanks. And are we sure all the official factions know the difference from Dock-killing and killing when someone tries to escape by docking?

n00b question - Domjan - 04-26-2011

Why the rule about killing someone while docking still isn't enforced?

Example: I am trying to dock at Cadiz , a Hessian blows me up.
In RP that would be impossible because Cadiz would have blown him to pieces before he blows me up.

No need for a whole 'nother thread when this one works just fine
