As a new player on this server I have noticed players using regen during the few pvp encounters I have had and one player complaining about using regen. I know what it is frowned upon on othere servers and I am just wanting clarification as to the position on Discovery RP.

Thanks for the replies, that is exactly what I thought, but this TRIAD player, terminated a pvp because I regened saying he would not pvp anyone who regens, nothing was agreed or said about it beforehand, my char is bounty hunter his was corsair, I was just role playing.

^well - its his choice - but he won t pvp much then on this server. a character tries not to die. bats bots are part of that. agreeing not to use bats / bots is rather an agreement from pure pvp servers to shorten fights - here they are part of the strategy.

Well if that guy was leaving the fight for bots and bats, you could have just destroy him(if it was roleplaying PvP).

If he starts to whine about the fact that your using bats and bots, its either.
1. His ran out, and he cant win anymore.
2. He needs to go to the pvp server.
As stated above, you do what you must to survive on the RP server. So why shouldnt you be allowed to regenerate?

Yes, bots and batts are part of Vanilla FL and RP.
Thus, you can use them no matter what the other party says. Just tell him to bugger off and go to the PvP server or Void.

If you go into a battle with no regens, and your enemy has loads, it's not a fair fight. This is the philosophy of many (if not most) non-RP servers.
I remember, on RAW, if you where ever seen regenning, you'd be likely to have most of the server hunting you and killing you over and over, regardless of your semi-rp status. It's dishonorable to use them in battle, almost as bad as cheating.
However, this is an RP server. Regens are RP.
