Suzette's Motivation - Suzette - 02-05-2008
I always knew some day I would follow along in my father's business.
Dad struggled all his life to get a small shipping company started. One week he would be down in the Omicrons, the next hauling his goods to every port in Kusari. He knew it was no life for his little girl. Guess that's why at such a young age he left me with the Madam at one of the nicest brothels in Ainu Depot.
The ladies there raised me really.. not that dad didn't stop in every few weeks to spend some time, to be with me.. I felt like I had 6 moms and was the luckiest girl in all of Sirius. They taught me how to dress, how to behave like a lady. And how to take care of myself when the men would inevitable get out of hand.
My dad passed away a few years ago and left me memories of hundreds of hours filled with wonderful tales of travel and trade, with a heart filled with love, and not much else. So now I'm "of age", and starting out on my own into this dangerous world. If you see me racing by in my little freighter with a determined set in my eye, don't let the stern look fool you. I'd love to chat and share stories. Guess I'm only working so hard trying to made dad proud of his girl cause I know he's watching me from up there somewhere.
