Sir Alan Lauderdale - pchwang - 02-08-2008

Sir Alan Lauderdale, the current head of the field forces of the Bretonia Police Gate and Transportation Authority, or BPGTA, hails from the distinguished Cambridge Light Horse, a civilian squadron which he founded dedicated to the protection of the Cambridge system. Prior to his tenure as the CO of the CLH, Lauderdale served with the BAF as a Regimental Sergeant Major during Rheinland incursion 20 years ago, after which he was honourably knighted by the Queen herself.

Lauderdale has proved himself an apt and able commander, though he is also nefarious for his tendency to overreact.

During his tenure as the commanding officer of the CLH, a total of 648 system lockdowns were ordered, with an average of 3 per week. After being persuaded by several friends, colleagues, and BPA officials, Lauderdale reluctantly disassembled the Cambridge Light Horse after nearly five years of dedicated service.

Three weeks ago, Lauderdale was commissioned by the Queen to form a new addition to the BPA, the BPGTA. While all their ships would still be tagged as BPA, the BPGTA would have the primary duty of insuring that all Bretonian trade policies are strictly obeyed.

Much to the dismay to the citizens of Cambridge and several high ranking BPA officials, Lauderdale eagerly accepted the role, bringing along several members of his former CLH Squadron.

Though he only stands at 5' 11", Alan Lauderdale is a formidible Hussar pilot and an even more formidible disciplinarian. The former RSM was responsible for the discipline and behavior of over 30 men, including his fellow sergeants. Known for his extraordinarily loud bellow, he is not afraid to raise his voice.
