Two trailers of my totally experimental, low-budget film.
Created only to test capabilities of my new camera.

I like these trailers. I really do. The way the colours have a grey tint to them set the post-nuclear scene proper.

Thanks for feedback. I really appreciate your comment. Just to make you sure, all effects you saw in trailer is made-in-film, not made for trailer specially. Only the slowmotions and speed ups in trailer 1 is made-in-trailer.
Oh, and yes. There's no grey effect or filter. The color sharpness and levels are simply reduced. Making everything grey in digital way would make everything look too artificial.

Editors said that there's some references between these two films. However, I believe there's no "The Road" influence here (nor intentional, nor unnintentional one).
I didn't watched any post-nuclear or post-apocalyptic movies before writting the script and shooting the film, to make sure that there won't be any influence.
I just got "The Road" DVD and going to watch it right now, to see the references. After reading the synopsis the only reference I have found is the battle between survivors and bolding the theme of natural selection and human instincts.

Are 0:14 and 0:16 your scenes or taken from somewhere, in second trailer.
Overall for amateur film (and I presume you have 1-2 cameras? ) it looks great. I wouldn't do too much with after effect except maybe gunshot/wounds and such, cause it makes thing look pretty artificial in general (unless you make your own explosions and not taking samples from internet etc...)
Also a suggestion since you're making post apocalyptic movie, put some dirt into it, bad clothes, put make up over the face and such.
All in all, cool trailer.

The scenes aren't taken from the film. All the events before the plot of film is explained by the main character himself. No flashbacks.
"I" is filmed with one camera only. And there's no after effect at all. As I said, the film is created to test the camera, not the postproduction skills.

You're not the first who says it. And I admit my mistake. I was thinking about all of this while writing the script and drawing the storyboard. However, because I had only one day to shoot, all that just "gone" from my mind.
The premiere is tomorrow. The film will be uploaded to the youtube sooner or later. I'll try to do this as soon as possible. Don't forget to subscribe.
And... I'm planning to make a prequel of this. A short film web mini-series (sounds confusing, eh?). Which plot will explain the events before all the plot in this film and explain other stuff. If there won't be any changes the filming work will be started this summer.
