If there are no enemies around, there a music for this. If there's enemies on the scanners, there's a music for this ... and also if you are in combat, there's a special music to this. And every 3 of them are different for the regions (each house has its own as well as the border worlds etc.). Theoretically, one could just replace those sounds with the music one would like to hear when they encounter this and that situation. But the work is quite hard, and it WILL require a lot of hard drive space (wave files are not known for their compression - they are like the .bmp files: perfect quality, but high file size:D) ...
