General information: After the Nomad war, Rheinland had left his archeologist and scientist sides in many systems, especially in the far omicrons. Nobody knows what has happened to them, they might be destroyed or maybe they are still in tact and could be used for futher research.

The Kanzler decided to stop with the '€œnomad conspiracy fear'€ and to start gathering valuable information from the unknown planets and system of the Sirius system.

Each agent who will be taking part in this operation will recieve information about the current task. The progress to the far omicrons will take long and many systems will have to be crossed.

The main task of the Marinenachrichtendienst will be mostly gathering information about the current system and either eliminate any hostile contacts met on the way or hide and send information about it to the Rheinland Marinenachrichtendienst department on New Berlin

Omicron Theta system: This system has to be reached by crossing the omegas, the most problems could come from the side of the hessians, but the necessary training and stealth techniques should make sure you will manage to get to Theta easily. Futhermore the agents assigned to Omicron Theta mission will meet an expert of the Omegas who will be waiting for you on the other side of the Omega 11 Jumpgate.
Be aware of many freelancers and strangers you will meet on your way, anybody who does not have the codes of the Marinenachrichtendienst cant be trusted.

[font=Times New Roman]ASSIGNMENT REPORT - [color=#CC0000]SECRET
FROM: Agentin Simone Brunn
TO: Operation Hidden Treasure Einsatzleitung

[font=Times New Roman]Geehrte Einsatzleitung,

I just returned from the first trip to the Omicrons. The Agents Two and Eleven were accompanying me. We started out in Omega-11 from where we ventured to Omega-41 through a jump hole located in the southwest of Omega-11.

We passed through the heavily radiated system unnoticed and without further incidents.

Another jump hole led us to the Omicron Theta system, our target destination. We collected as much information on the system's planets and installations as we could, again without being detected by any of its inhabitants. The scans are attached below.

A view at Omicron Theta's sun, shortly after our arrival.

One of the space stations we discovered.

The other space station - a freeport.

A planet close to those stations.

Another planet, hidden in the northern nebula.

Video to complement the still shots.

Having gathered enough very interesting data we moved into the Omicron Gamma system. We only saw a small part of it, running into some automated weapon installations we decided it would be best to pass through it as fast as possible - however, Gamma will be concerned again later in this report.

The weapon installations that opened fire on us.

The Jump Hole to Kappa.

Kappa itself was a very interesting system, concerning the looks of it. I have never seen such a strange thing before. But I trust our scientists will have answers or at least a theory why this system is shaped in such an uncommon way. Our scans and pictures are attached below.

Strange look of Omicron Kappa.

Scan of the planet we discovered there.

Again, we could do all our work without being detected.

We went for the Omicron Delta system next, a system as strange as Kappa, and there it finally was were we encountered some of the inhabitants of the Omicrons. Some willing to give out information...some others, well, less cooperative.

A look on the Omicron Delta system.

At first we discovered a corsair capital vessel. It was not responding to our comms and fled after it had dealt with some Bounty Hunter rookies.

During that a Bounty Hunter discovered us and was, well, babbling strange things. We deemed him unworthy of our time and wanted to move along, but he started shooting cruise disruptors at us when we wanted to depart. Realizing he overestimated his combat skills he fled after taking some fire from us.

Another Bounty Hunter vessel came along as we dealt with that fool. Seeing that this individual most likely had mental issues or was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, he was not troubled at all that we tought him a little lesson. On the contrary, he was even willing to give out useful information. He revealed to us that Omicron Gamma, the system we ran into the weapon installations, was the home system of the corsairs. Furthermore he provided us with information about Planets and other installations in that system. We will most likely check that information in one of our next assignments.

Having gathered enough information we decided to depart and move back to Rheinland space. However, a strange contact appeared on our scanners, which we had to check out first. Much to our surprise it was a gunboat of the Liberty Navy. Being there all alone without an escort we decided to strike. The coward ran to one of the stations and docked before we could finish him off...pity.

The way back to Rheinland was all quiet, the Agenten Two and Eleven split from me in Omega-11 for another task and I returned to Stuttgart.

In conclusion I think the Omicrons may be remote systems far away from Rheinland, but considering the obvious activities of various groups out there, including criminal ones, we should keep an eye on this part of Sirius. We simply cannot afford to ignore the happenings there, especially everything that is connected with the corsairs. This scum has been a threat to Rheinland for a considerable time now and monitoring their movements there could give us a significant advantage in countering any of their operations against Rheinland.

That's it for this report, für Rheinland und den Kanzler!

Brunn signing out.
