Halp! Halp! - Dashiell - 06-14-2011 I have 2 FL installs. 1: the one with Disco mod on it, the multiplayer one. 2: the 2nd installment is basic. Just made it. No mods or anything. Just a blank FL install. But it kicks me back to the desktop everytime after the intro movie ends. It doesnt matter whether I skip it. the game just crashes to the desktop when the title screen is supposed to appear. any ideas on how to fix this? My multiplayer installment works like a charm still. Halp! Halp! - teschy - 06-14-2011 Try deleting the AutoSave.fl and Restart.fl from your Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\SinglePlayer folder. Halp! Halp! - Dashiell - 06-15-2011 Can't find the folder anywhere... Nor the files. Halp! Halp! - Pancakes - 06-15-2011 ' Wrote:Can't find the folder anywhere... In folder options make sure you can see hidden files and folders. EDIT: use the search thingy to search for "Freelancer" it will find all of the files and folders that contain that name, might give a big list but should find you that file Halp! Halp! - ProfGiggles - 06-15-2011 You can delete them through mod manager. The saves aren't actually located in the Freelancer folder. (for whatever reason) If you wish to search for them manually, try looking in the your documents folder. Halp! Halp! - Dashiell - 06-15-2011 Thx for the suggestions. Still, my entire FL got messed up and my pc almost exploded. Im just too much of a klutz. I'll refrain from trying to fix what isn't broken:P Halp! Halp! - Govedo13 - 06-15-2011 download WMware player make fake win xp with 1 gb place on your hdd, install the SP FL there, Profit? Or this? Other option is to try to install them on two different windows users. |
