Subject: Merger rumors?

Greetings, gentlemen.

There is a persistent rumor around, that ALG and Kruger are getting closer to eachother, to the point where a merger between the two companies is being considered. I'm usually not one to follow up on rumor, but given that a standing partnership exists between us, yourselves and Gateway, I wanted to learn if there is any truth to this matter, and if so, how it will affect our partnership. The Independent Miners Guild has been a competitor of Kruger ever since they started to encroach upon our stakes in Omega 7, though they do not seem to be as agressive as Daumann about their encroachment... and I must admit to be a bit unsettled by this rumor.

Respectfully, I would ask if there is any truth to these rumors.
