Officer(s),

The Independent Miners Guild would like to pre-emptively register one of our storage platforms. While it is at present not located within Rheinland, we may at some point wish to use it for storage purposes within the Omega 7 system.
A breakdown of the required information:

§1.1.1. Callsign of the ship: IMG|Panthalassa

§1.1.2. Name of the Captain: Various. At present Robert Black is in command, but we rotate duties frequently. Postings on a storage platform tend to be dull after all.

§1.1.3. Ship papers/Affiliation: Independent Miners Guild

§1.1.4. Intention in Rheinland: Ore storage depot. Miners offload into it, and transports fill from it. The vessel will generally remain stationary.

§1.1.5. Cargo, which would be transported: Silver ore, Copper ore, Cobalt ore.

§1.1.6. Origin of the cargo: Mined locally within Omega 7.

§1.1.7. Destination of the trade: Copper generally towards Bretonia, 'though this has been suspended with the outbreak of conflict in the Omega borderworlds. Silver towards Kusari. Note that the barge itself does not bring the cargo there, it will offload into transport convoys.

The scenario of the Barge being used for cargo storage is not covered within your registration fees, so please let me know what kind of fee should be payed for this registration.

Regards,
- Johnathan Sanders, on behalf of the Independent Miners Guild

Sehr geehrter Herr Sanders,

we discussed your request and considered to [color=#33CC00]approve it.

Due the fact you use it for storage of Cobalt ore, if you are willing to bring it to Munich, with the named transports of course, this would be considered as §3.2.2. and the fee would be 250.000 sc, otherwise it would be 500.000 sc.

I hope I haven't to remind you, that the Independent Miners Guild is restricted to mine in the nord of Omega-7. Any IMG ship, mining in the south Daumann region, could result in revoking of this registration.

Barge registry (iRP) - Gorva - 07-02-2011

Gutan Tag,

I am Commander Gorva,

I command the Barge known as Hathor. I am Zoner and run with Zoner affiliation. I often pass into the Rheinland bringing goods from Kusari such as Niobium and Berylium as well as foods and comnser goods. I also carry out -- rather use to carry out to both Bretonia (which is now under embargo) and Kusari.

I do not consider my travels as passing through, as they are also my homelands.
My cargo varies from time to time as my contracts to deliver varies upon what is needed where.

I have always allowed the Navy and Polizie to stop and scan my vessel -- provide papers, to include pickup and destinations. I honor your embargos agianst Liberty and now agianst Bretonia. I may do bussiness there when the need arises but not with cargo from Rheinland.

I request permission to carry on and continue to provide the Rheinland with much needed war materials and products as you require. I have also paid the fees required for both deliveries into Rheinland and the passing through. --NEURAL NET ACCOUNT

I await yoru decission before resuming my deliveries.
Thank you,

Commander Gorva.

Guten Tag, meine Damen und Herren,

this is Samuel Henderson speaking on behalf of the Independent Miners Guild.

Mr. Sanders has already registered a Barge for the Omega 7 use, but some changes made it impossible for Panthalassa to move to Omega 7 as planned.

The IMG has leased the services of the Zoner Barge "The.Almighty.One" for the purpose of raw ore storage and refinement in Omega 7, and is waiting for the authority's permission before starting to use it.

Sehr geehrter Herr Henderson,

it seems there was a misunderstanding with Herrn Sanders, the registration of the IMG|Panthalassa wasn't complete as result of the missing transfer. As you said, the Panthalassa ought to be moved to Omega-7. The same applies for the Zoner barge I guess.

Based on the size of the ship, a moving through/in our space would require a lot of traffic regulation, which is the reason of the fee. We also have to update and synchronisate our patrol routes in Omega-7.

I doubt a ship of this size can be constructed on Freistadt.
And I still don't know, from which system you enter rheinland space. (I'm also not aware of your building capacity at the Aland shipyard, but if this ship enteres Omega-7 from Omega-3, good luck with breaking the bretonia blockade.)

As I could see, the route for the mined cobalt is Ingolstadt; I told Herrn Sanders the moving fee for the Barge to Omega-7 is, in this case, considered as §3.2.2.. So the fee would be still 250.000 sc and the transfer confirmation should be sent to this channel.

Please note, a registration for this stationary barge, would only grant the access for operation in Omega-7, but for the traffic regulation, we need your route within Rheinland. This are the information needed in your registration form.

The paragraph §1.1.6. and §1.1.7. would be optional if it only takes it´s position. And §1.1.5. would only apply, if the ships is carrying cargo like mining machinery to Omega-7 (when it's moving to it at the beginning).

So let me review your form:

Quote:§1.1.1. Callsign of the ship: The.Almighty.One

§1.1.2. Name of the Captain: Herr Roland Keitzner/Frau Barbara Brenner

§1.1.3. Ship papers/Affiliation: Zoner

§1.1.4. Intention in Rheinland: Moving From Omega-3 to Omega-7, stationary ore storage depot:
  • Copper generally towards Bretonia, although this has been suspended with the outbreak of conflict in the Omega borderworlds.
  • Silver is moved towards Kusari.
  • Cobalt goes to Ingolstadt, which is the preferred route at the moment.
§1.1.5. Cargo, which would be transported: None

§1.1.6. Origin of the cargo: -

§1.1.7. Destination of the trade: No trade, moving to it's position in Omega-7

Is that correct?

Officer Schulz,

In absence of my colleague, mr. Henderson, I will handle this. Your review is correct, and the registration fee shall be transferred within one standard business day. We no longer intend to move the Panthalassa. With the outbreak of the conflict between house Bretonia and house Rheinland, it'd be too risky to let it get caught in a crossfire. These mobile bases are difficult enough to move in the best of times, let alone in wartime.
I believe the vessel's intended course will take it from the lower Omicron systems to Rheinland's southern border. The exact route is yet to be determined, but either Dresden, Frankfurt, Omega 11 or Omega 15 are viable entry points. From there, it will move alongside the lanes rather then through, to avoid traffic. A slower journey, but given it's a one time move, not a problem. The Guild, of course, intends to be responsible for the vessel's security outside of Rheinland's border.

As for Aland, it is a large facility mostly geared towards constructing and maintaining multiple civilian vessels simultaneously, including the Atlas class transport. The sheer size of the operation ensures a lot of folk stay employed there. We service various independent and Zoner traders. Until the outbreak of the war, it also serviced some of ALG and Gateway's fleet, but obviously that has been suspended. It does have the capacity to build a Barge class vessel externally, and the ability to maintain and construct our Zephyr and Argus class vessels, but to do so requires extensive reconfiguration of one of the bays, so these disruptive occurrances are rare.

Sehr geehrter Herr Sanders,

at first I confirm the registration of the Panthalassa is canceled.

Your response is also a bit self-contradictory. As you said my review is correct your statement about the course is another. So I guess the moving is not from Omega-3.

Furthermore: I want to add, don't use Omega-11!
As I know, the Rheinland Bundestag told you at the 18th Februar 819 this system is claimed by Daumann Heavy Construction. I'm sure if there is a barge moving through their zone of influence, without their permission, it could result in a misunderstanding and the cease fire/conflict in Omega-7 could (again) escalate. I think noone want this.

The border stations Fulda, Pirna, Brandenburg, Konstanz and Ulm are now contacted about your possible routes. Please contact one of it, when you start the moving of the barge to Omega-7.

After your transfer has been received the barge The.Almighty.One will be added to the registration list.

Thank you for the warning on the Omega 11 system. We'll try an alternate route. It was not the preferred way, regardless, since it is quite troublesome to move these huge vessels through asteroid fields. Current plan is to take it through the Sigma nebulas, but that might change depending on the conditions of the route. We'll move it as soon as we have your final approval. A convoy scout vessel will alert the designated border station ahead of the barge's arrival so traffic can be controlled.
