To the OSI, TAZ, VE - Dab - 07-02-2011 Incoming Transmission Comm ID: Baroness Evyn Hunter Origin: HMS Craven's Nest Recipients: Omicron Supply Industries, Temporary Autonomous Zoners, Virulean Enclave I find myself needing to contact you, for both our sakes. All three of your organizations have maintained amiable relations with Bretonia. That is, we don't hate each other yet. This message is to cover two requests. One minor, one vital. <div align="right]End Transmission
First; Bretonia would like permission to set up a meeting on Gran Canaria between ourselves, the Independent Miners Guild, and the Gas Miners Guild. The location was proposed by the latter as a good neutral ground, far enough away from the fighting to afford everyone safety enough. To this I'm hoping to be joined by a representative of the Hessians. I would also like to have you three organizations join us at this meeting. As you may have guessed, it involves the state of the Omegas, and their future. All three of you have a vested interest in the Omegas for one reason or another, and I consider the leadership of your organizations competent and reasonable enough to be able to discuss the matter diplomatically in order to find a solution. The second reason for this message, which will probably be further discussed at the meeting, should you attend, concerns Freeport One directly, and its administration. Over the last three days, Administrator Summers has made several declarations against both Rheinland and Breetonia. Rheinland I can fully understand, they attacked Freeport One without provocation. Bretonia, while some of the Freeport One Zoners are unhappy with the current state of our relationship, has taken no action against Freeport One up to this point. In fact, when Rheinland attacked the station, we attempted by all means to distract their force away from Freeport One and onto our own forces. We were able to divert some of their fighters, but their capital ships ignored our efforts. After the attack was over, Bretonia rushed aid to the station, and assisted in the evacuation of refugees. This is a service Bretonia provides to all stations that reside within solar systems that are within our sovereignty. IMG's stations, for example, receive this benefit as well. Despite our aid and complete and total lack of aggressive actions, we haven't entered the station's No-Fire Zone once during this debacle, Administrator Summers has continued to seek a violent stance against both governments present in the Omegas. We fear this will lead to a full attack and boarding by the Rheinland Military, who will then turn that station into a military base for incursions into Bretonia. Bad for us, and very bad for the Zoners, who will have completely lost one of their Freeports. If Administrator Summers continues his antics, I have no doubt it'll result in even more hostilities with Rheinland, and he also seems hell-bent on the same with Bretonia. We would have no choice but to respond. As such, I'm hoping your three organizations can try to keep Administrator Summers calm, and most importantly, non-violent. Let Bretonia fight Rheinland, away from the station. That's why the Armed Forces exists. I have attempted to discuss this with Summers himself, but since that attempt, I have yet to receive a response from him. That is why I want help from you three. Border World Exports and Convoy will continue their aid shipments to Freeport One until hostilities erupt. That is all I can do given the current political situation. -Baroness Snowdown Admiral of the Norfolk Great Fleet, Bretonia Armed Forces Assistant Director Bretonian Intelligence Service To the OSI, TAZ, VE - theenclave - 07-02-2011 |->Direct Transmission - Gran Canaria Orbit<-| |->Communications ID - Arin, secretary off the Patriarch<-| |->To - Baroness Evyn Hunter<-|
To the OSI, TAZ, VE - Doc Holliday - 07-02-2011 Comm ID: [TAZ]Doc Holliday Location: Ambassador's Office, Shasta Orbital Skyhook, Baffin System To: Baroness Evyn Hunter Location: HMS Craven's.Nest CC: VE, OSI Greetings, Baroness, I've been reading the reports from Administrator Summers on the recent events there. While what I have is by no means complete, it is quite disturbing. Not long ago, at the request of Administrator Summers, I sent a medical team from Med.Force.Two to take up residency on the base as they had none at the time. Good thing we did that as the casualty count is very high. Those medical reports are quite accurate. I won't sit here and discuss my feelings on Freeport 1 over this channel. I will only say that I view imperialism over it to be just as bad as firing upon it but, I am a man of logic and will discuss it. Patriarch Arin, I share your concern. I am embarking this morning on a diplomatic mission. I have a few meetings to attend and one of them is at Freeport 1 to meet with Administrator Summers. As I have yet to visit Eden, I think we can make this a good site to meet. If not there, I can have my own estate set up for a meeting. I will be in space by the time someone replies so I will respond from there. Dr. John Henry Holliday TAZ Ambassador To the OSI, TAZ, VE - fencore - 07-02-2011 Baroness,
We can get behind a talk. OSI will be sending a representative from the Board of Directors as soon as possible to participate. It certainly couldn't make this whole situation any worse. Not much to say here that hasn't already been said by the Ambassador or Mr. Arin. Let's just work on minimizing any further damage. Regards, Gheis Mace To the OSI, TAZ, VE - Dab - 07-05-2011 Incoming Transmission Comm ID: Baroness Evyn Hunter Origin: HMS Craven's Nest Recipients: Virulean Enclave I shall notify the participants to begin assembling on Gran Canaria over the next two days. <div align="right]End Transmission
