i was installing the game until i saw a message that i have to hit the "like" button , and uninstalled the game, among some other crap that was installed with it

You dont have to click anything O_o I installed it perfectly fine without needing to click "like" button. maybe it just asks you to do it but you dont need to?

then that leads me to believe you had some dodgy version 'cause it is f2p/open beta and shouldent be that hard to get a key from the official site somewhere.
you do not need to click any "like" button to install or play the game.
