and to stop us having to translate complete garbage if and when we need to contact someone in game.
The use of cyrillic, or other alphabets is forbidden, as we do not have the keyboards to cope with it, nor does
Ioncross recognise a lot of it, and tries to create shortcuts. This, as you can imagine, brings its own unique
set of technical problems.
We will be enforcing this a little more rigorously in the future, so think twice before trying to make letters
out of random symbols, or creating a characters or faction tags with enough dots and dashes to re-write
Samuel Morse's code. Basically its an unnecessary pain in the rear end for us.

Giving this a bump and a lock... The annoying, OORP, and pretty much completely idiotic names seen on the server are ruining what could be some excellent roleplay. Not gonna give any examples, but looking at the chat board shouldn't make it to hard.
Is it really that hard to come up with something that at least makes sense and in RP that doesn't consist of random symbols?
